Rafayel + Protocore + Cat = ?
A purr? Let’s tease this cat! ⊹ (=•́ܫ•̀=) ⊹
You walk into Rafayel’s studio, the heavy scent of turpentine, linseed oil, and sea salt instantly hitting you. But instead of the usual quiet scratching of charcoal or the steady stroke of a brush, the room is in absolute chaos.
A stray cat is darting across the high rafters, a glowing, pristine protocore clamped firmly between its teeth, the exact one Rafayel had been planning to grind down into his custom pigment for weeks.
"Hey! Drop that right now! Do you have any idea how rare that is?!" Rafayel is practically losing his mind, diving over an easel to catch the creature. He manages to snatch the cat mid air, but the moment his fingers lock around it, the protocore fractures. A blinding flash of starlight and unstable energy explodes between them.
The cat doesn't just drop, it seems to melt right into him.
You rush forward, but before you can even call his name, the light fades and you freeze. Rafayel is standing there, blinking open his violet eyes, but perched right on top of his messy violet hair is a pair of soft, velvety cat ears, twitching.
You don't even get a chance to process it before his pupils dilate, locking onto you.
"Rafayel…??"
With a sudden burst of speed, he pounces.
His weight knocks you right onto the floor, sending a row of open paint jars clattering around you. Tubes of crimson, cerulean, and gold spill across the hardwood, but Rafayel doesn't care about his precious materials anymore. He traps you against the messy rug, his breath hot against your face. His long, sleek tail swishes frantically behind him, smearing the wet paint across the floorboards.
He leans down, entirely driven by instinct, and grabs your hand, nibbling gently on your fingertips. It’s a playful, teasing prickle that sends a shiver up your spine. He moves up, his soft, fluffy cat ears brushing right against your own ears as he nuzzles into your neck, purring.
Before you can catch your breath, he shifts upward, his tongue lightly licking your lips with a cat-like curiosity. You gasp at the sensation, and the sudden movement causes your lips to fully press against his in a deep, chaotic, paint smudged kiss.
Just as the heat between you spikes, a soft poof echoes through the studio. A cloud of shimmering dust breaks the contact, and the stray cat unmerges right out of his chest, landing lightly on the floor. Without looking back, the creature darts through the open balcony door and vanishes into the night.
The ears on Rafayel's head melt away. The tail disappears.
You lay there, breathing heavily, completely covered in stray paint splatters. Rafayel blinks, the feline haze instantly clearing from his violet eyes when he looks down at you, then at his messy hands, and finally realizes what he just did.
You snicker a bit, fingers poking around his sensitive waist. “Well? Go on. Say ‘meoow’ for me~”
His actual human ears turn a deep, burning crimson that matches the spilled paint on the floor. He scrambles back a few inches, looking entirely mortified.
"Wh-What are you doing?!" he stammers, his voice cracking slightly as he tries to hide his flaming face behind his hands. "Stop teasing me! You... you completely took advantage of me just now! I’m the victim here!"
You let out a breathy laugh, sitting up and wiping a streak of blue paint from your cheek. "I took advantage of you? Rafayel, you pounced on me, ruined your own studio, and nibbled my fingers!"
Seeing you covered in his paint, with your hair messy and your lips slightly flushed from the kiss, Rafayel’s panicked expression suddenly shifts. The embarrassment still burning in his ears, but that familiar, dramatic smirk slowly creeps back onto his face. He leans back down, propping his chin in his hand, looking at you with a lazy, wicked glint in his eyes.
"Oooh, is that how you want to play it?" he murmurs, his voice dropping into that smooth, theatrical drawl. "Weeeell, since you've already ruined my reputation and covered yourself in my paints... I suppose you'll just have to stay here and help me clean up. Or better yet... let me finish what my 'instincts' started."
Zayne + Protocore + Cat = ?
Oh my, a cat just stole a protocore from your hands! (≈>ܫ<≈) ♡
“Zayne, catch that cat!”
“On it.”
You sprinted after the stray cat that had just swiped the protocore right out of your hand, flying through the white hallways of Akso Hospital with Zayne hot on its heels. Just as he managed to corner the creature at the dead end of the corridor, there was a sudden, bright puff in the air.
“Hey, wha—”
When the smoke cleared, you froze. Zayne was still standing there, but his dark hair was now topped with a pair of deep grey-black cat ears that twitched with every distant beep of the hospital machinery. A long black tail poked out from beneath his lab coat, swishing back and forth in clear agitation.
“Oh, no...”
His eyes locked onto yours, his pupils narrowing into slits for a fraction of a second before dilating. Before you could even think of what to say, he closed the distance between you, stepping right into your personal space.
“Zayne...”
The usually quiet, serious doctor leaned in, burying his face deeply against your neck while letting out a low, rumbling purr. You held your breath as he pressed himself completely against you, refusing to budge. His hands wrapped tightly around your waist like a clingy, oversized kitten.
Hearing footsteps approaching around the corner, panic set in.
“Zayne, snap out of it!” You grabbed his shoulders, quickly steering him away from the hallway and yanking open the nearest door to drag him into an empty on-call room.
“Oh, how am I supposed to fix this...”
The moment the door clicked shut, Zayne completely lost whatever was left of his usual composure. The professional doctor was gone, replaced by a needy, overwhelmingly affectionate... cat? He trapped you against the narrow space, refusing to give you even an inch of breathing room. He buried his face into your shoulder, nuzzling your neck enthusiastically before capturing your lips in a deep, breathless, and shockingly intense kiss.
Just as your head started to spin, a soft poof sounded between you. A tiny cloud of sparkling light erupted over his head, and the stray cat unmerged from him, landing right on the edge of the mattress. It didn't waste a single second. It darted across the room, leapt out the open window, and vanished. There was no sign of the protocore left behind. It’s energy had completely evaporated, clearly spent by the transformation.
You blinked, trying to catch your breath. The ears and tail were entirely gone.
Zayne's eyes snapped open, the cat haze vanishing in an instant. He looked down at you, then down at his hands gripping your messy jacket, clearly remembering every single second of what had just transpired. His face flushed bright red. He quickly scrambled backward, sitting up and frantically adjusting his lab coat in a total panic.
You sat up slowly, a wicked smirk playing on your lips as you straightened your collar.
"Well, Dr. Zayne... I didn't know you had a side like that.")
Zayne froze, his back turned to you as his shoulders went completely rigid. The tips of his ears were glowing a bright crimson. He took a slow, deliberate breath, trying his best to salvage his professional demeanor, though his voice shook slightly when he spoke.
"Not another word," he muttered, refusing to look back at you as he tried to smooth down his messy hair. "Not. Another. Word.”
Xavier + Protocore + Cat = ?
Oh dear, Xavier just turned into a cat! ≽ܫ≼ ♡
You walk into Xavier’s apartment, holding the bags of takeout you picked up on the way. The entire place is dark, save for a faint sliver of light spilling out from the cracked bedroom door.
"Xavier?"
Nothing. Kicking off your shoes, you drop the containers onto the kitchen counter and head toward the glow. When you push the bedroom door open, your eyes land right on the middle of the bed. There’s a massive lump under the blanket, twitching. The fabric shifts with a sudden, violent squirm.
You tilt your head, stepping closer. "What are you doing under there?"
The bundle instantly freezes. The silence stretches, thick and suspicious.
Amused, you grab the edge of the fluffy quilt and yank it back.
Xavier is crouching there, knees tucked tight against his chest. His usual neat platinum hair a total bird nest, and pressed flat against the top of his head are a pair of soft, pale pinkish-white and grey cat ears. Both of his hands are clamped over them in a desperate attempt to hide them, while a long, light grey tail twitches out from beneath his hem, thumping against the sheets.
He looks up through his bangs, wide-eyed and flushed, looking exactly like a pet caught tearing up the couch.
"Oh my god," you gasp, your heart completely melting. "That is so cute! Where did you even get that headband?"
Unable to resist, you reach out and press your fingers into one of the pale ears. The moment your thumb strokes the velvety base, Xavier’s pupils dilate until his eyes are almost entirely black. A low, vibrating rumble starts deep in his chest.
A purr?
Before your brain can even process the sound, he pounces.
His weight slams you flat against the mattress, knocking the wind clean out of you. You let out a startled yelp, twisting and struggling beneath him as you try to pin his arms, but his reflexes are entirely too fast. After a breathless, tangled scramble across the pillows, he pins your wrists, crowding his body over yours to bring the struggle to a dead halt.
His breath is hot against your face. The sleepy, gentle Xavier is completely gone. His gaze is locked onto yours, his light grey tail swishing with a heavy rhythm against your legs. Without a word, he leans down and captures your mouth in a deep, surprisingly possessive kiss that leaves your head spinning.
Just as things start to heat up, a sudden, soft poof echoes in the quiet room. A tiny cloud of sparkling light hovers over Xavier's head, and a real cat, the same one that stole the protocore, unmerges right out of him, landing lightly on the mattress. The creature doesn't even look back. It darts across the sheets, slips through the cracked balcony door, and leaps gracefully over the railing into the night.
You blink, breathing heavily. The soft ears on Xavier's head are gone. You glance down toward the edge of the mattress. The light grey tail has vanished, too.
Xavier blinks, the haze clearing from his blue eyes as his actual ears turn a deep, burning crimson. The memory of the chase, the protocore explosion, and his absolute, unhinged feline instincts come rushing back in full clarity.
He buries his burning face directly into the crook of your neck, letting out a muffled groan. "Please tell me I didn't actually purr."
You let out a breathy laugh, poking his flushed cheek. "Not only did you purr, you pounced on me, too."
Xavier stiffens, his dread peaking as he pulls back to stare at you, completely horrified by his own behavior. But looking down at you now, his eyes grow heavy, a familiar, lazy softness returning to his face. He doesn't move away. Instead, he slowly shifts his weight, resting his chin on your chest and looking up through his messy silver bangs with a tired, innocent blink.
"If I really bit you... then I guess I'm still a little out of it," Xavier murmurs, his voice dropping into a quiet, sleepy drawl. "You should probably stay right here and watch over me until tomorrow."
Sylus + Protocore + Cat = ?
Bossman just turned to cat! What are the odds? (꜆˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)꜆ ♡
Luke and Kieran were practically vibrating with anxiety outside the double doors, their usual playful banter completely replaced by genuine panic. They both jumped in front of you, arms crossed. "Look, we're serious, don't go in there," Luke warned, his voice dropped to a frantic whisper. "Something went totally sideways with a Protocore, and Boss is... he's not himself right now."
"Just stay out," Kieran added, shaking his head. "Trust us."
Ignoring their warnings, you brace yourself and push the heavy doors open, stepping into the pitch-black room. The silence inside is heavy, almost suffocating. As your eyes adjust to the dark, a sharp, crimson glint catches your attention near the far corner.
Suddenly, a low, vibrating sound rumbles through the shadows. It’s a bizarre mix of a deep, threatening growl and a heavy, rhythmic cat purr.
Before you can even wrap your head around what you're hearing, the shadow moves.
You aren't prepared for the sheer momentum when he pounces. The sheer weight of a very big man hits you full-on, sending you flying backward onto the floor. You hit the rug with a soft thud, completely pinned. Towering directly over your body is Sylus, his massive frame shutting out the rest of the room. But perched right into his messy silver hair is a pair of sharp, velvety black cat ears, and a dark tail is lashing wildly behind him. He lets out a sharp, feline hiss, his red Evol-eye glowing fiercely in the dark.
For a second, you’re paralyzed by how absurdly intimidating (and weirdly cute) he looks.
Then, the feral instinct takes over completely. Instead of his usual calculated demeanor, Sylus drops his head and starts licking you all over (your cheek, your jaw, the side of your neck) like a massive, possessive panther marking its territory. You let out a breathless, half-panicked laugh, trying to push against his broad chest, but he doesn't budge an inch. Finally, his muzzle finds your lips, and he locks you into a deep, heavy, completely unhinged kiss that takes the rest of your breath away.
Right as the heat in the room spikes, a sudden, soft poof echoes in the quiet space.
A tiny cloud of red, sparkling light hovers over Sylus's head, and a real cat unmerges right out of his chest, landing lightly on his back. The creature doesn't waste a second. It leaps off him, darts across the floor, and runs straight past the cracked door into the hallway.
The black ears on Sylus's head vanish into thin air. The tail disappears.
Sylus blinks, the crimson haze clearing from his eyes as he stares down at you. He looks at your flushed face, his own slightly damp lips, and the realization of what just happened hits him in full clarity.
Instead of getting embarrassed, a slow, wicked smirk spreads across his face. The heavy weight of his body doesn't shift an inch. If anything, he settles more comfortably over you, propping his weight on his forearms.
"Well," Sylus murmurs, his voice dropping into that familiar, rough drawl as his thumb lazily traces your bottom lip. "I see the twins couldn't keep you away. Come to find out what kind of trouble I was in?"
Caleb + Protocore + Cat = ?
Kitty Caleb loves to curl on top of your pile of clothes! ≽ܫ≼ ♡
You walk into the house after a long day, expecting the usual quiet comfort, but instead, your eyes land on the disaster zone in the bedroom. Your laundry basket is flipped over, and a massive, chaotic nest of your worn clothes, hoodies, and blankets has been dragged directly onto the center of your bed, piled high over your pillows.
“What…”
And curled right up on top of it all is Caleb.
Before you can even yell his name, he lifts his head, and your jaw drops. Perched right in his messy, auburn hair is a pair of soft, twitching cat ears, a sleek tail is wrapped tightly around his waist, buried in the fabric of your favorite sweater.
Apparently, while you were out, a stray cat had snuck into the laundry room and snatched something right out of your pocket. Caleb had chased the creature down, cornering it just as it cracked open the srange protocore he hadn't seen before. The moment he grabbed the cat to pull it away, the energy had flared, and the stray had completely merged right into him. Driven by a sudden, overwhelming feline instinct to seek out. your scent, he had immediately ransacked your closet to build a nest.
The second his eyes lock onto yours, his pupils dilate into wide, dark circles.
"Caleb…?"
He doesn't even let you finish. With a sudden spring, he jumps straight off the pile of clothes and tackles you to the mattress.
The sheer weight of him knocks the breath right out of you, pinning you flat beneath him. He doesn't say a word, completely consumed by a needy, possessive streak as he buries his face into your shoulder, inhaling deeply before shifting upward. His gaze locks onto your face, and before you can process the soft, fuzzy ears pressing against your forehead, his lips crash into yours.
It’s a deep, breathless, fiercely affectionate kiss that leaves your senses completely scrambled. He holds you tight, as if making sure you aren't going anywhere. But you arent.
Right in the middle of the kiss, a soft poof echoes through the bedroom. A tiny cloud of sparkling light hovers over his head, and the stray cat unmerges from his chest, landing lightly on the headboard before immediately darting out through the open window into the yard.
The weight of the fluffy ears on his head melts away, and the tail vanish from around his waist.
Caleb blinks, the intense feline haze instantly lifting from his eyes as he finds himself hovering directly over you, completely tangled in your laundry. He stares down at your flushed face and your thoroughly kissed lips, the full memory of the chase and his ridiculous nesting instincts rushing back into his brain.
Instead of scrambling away or getting defensive, a lazy, incredibly fond smile spreads across his face. He stays right where he is, propping his weight on his forearms and looking down at you with a warm, teasing glint in his eyes.
"Well," Caleb murmurs, his voice dropping into that familiar, easygoing drawl as he reaches up to gently brush a stray strand of hair out of your face. "That's certainly one way to welcome you home. Want to continue?”
You eye the pile of clothes. He lets out a soft laugh, his eyes crinkling with amusement. “After we clean up, of course.”
Oof this is such a long page… hope there’s no mistake (´;,•ω•,,)a
