I feel like every Fontcest shipper has a unique dynamic for their Sans and Pap.

Like, some do it in canon style, and some just go their own way.

We all know there’s Top Sans or to Paps, but I’m talking about deeper than that.

Like, how unique their dynamic can be by the artist/writer, some have headcanons that may be close to canon, and some have specific ones that not many think of.

Anyway, all Fontcest dynamics are unique and valid.

Okay, I decided I can’t hold it any longer

And I can’t be the only one

You know, for the past couple years I’ve seen MANY post about Papyrus being autistic, and I don’t disagree with that, but my point is that, I’ve actually headcanoned Sans to be autistic first from 2017 and so on (part of that is because I’m autistic and I’m like Sans), and I think it’s getting to the point where people are calling Papyrus autistic as if he’s the only character in the game that’s autistic. Now I know some people may not know why, but I’ve gathered some information from other people about both Sans and Papyrus.

And the Google AI things said he wasn’t, but we all know it’s AI. It not always right, and I really disagreed with that.

Also, most if not all the ones that I see did headcanon both brothers as autistic, we’re probably anti proship.

And I, at this point, kinda think a lot of people are calling Papyrus autistic because of, not only the traits found below, but also the fact that he’s naive, and has been infantilized, and he’s been called that the most in the fandom…?

But yeah, pls! I need at least one person to agree with me or at least see it after they’ve read it 😭😭😭

This is actually Penelope, and not exactly Papyrus, but she’s A Papyrus

I will also mention a few things that are somewhat unrelated

This is based on a problem I have with (at this point) a “fanon” interpretation of Papyrus, especially when it’s SO widespread, and almost too widespread, (I’ll say it again) to the point where it’s almost “fanon”.

Disclaimer: I didn’t disagree (it’s just too many people saying it)

They’ll fucking put ONLY Papyrus in “autistic coded characters” compared to canonically autistic characters represented in media.

Like, again, I have written a lot about Sans being autistic, and you can go check those other post on my blog, with the tag /autism headcanons.

And other people will have their own HC of ie: Frisk and/or Alphys and they get pushed away too. And it’s so FUCKING AGGRAVATING, it’s like the internet (or the brain) tells you “no matter how much you say about any other character besides Papyrus being autistic, it’s just gonna be Papyrus”

It’s also like say, “if you’re autistic, you ONLY get to be papyrus” like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?

Believe me, I DID NOT want to have to fight for this, but whoever posted that in 2016 and with the whole fandom snowballing that shit, just eroded things. But the fandom snowballing that is probably more responsible for this than the original poster. The internet likes to snowball shit all the time.

And I mean I get it. Autism is rather complex to understand enough about it, especially when you’ve HC Sans since forever and you never understood why people claim Papyrus is “higher support needs” than Sans.

I mean they may say he “masks more” and Papyrus is more outgoing and all that, but HONESTLY, with Papyrus being capable of doing all the chore, and Sans barely doing any at all, to me that sounds like executive disfunction, and ofc those aren’t the only indications, however I can only think of the ones that stand out to me, it sounds like to me that, Sans might actually be a little higher support needs, than Papyrus, and overlapping with Sans masking a lot, and it makes it seem like Papyrus is just a quirky guy. Which might be one of the reasons why I actually saw it in Sans first.

THE AUTISM SPECTRUM IS A PIE CHART, NOT A LINE

And it actually pisses me off that I haven’t seen anyone else say they saw it in Sans first, even if the person posting that HC that for both brothers.

I try to find any of the validation I can find, even if I have to vent to meta AI about it.

And don’t even get me started on the post with “Sans having ADHD and not autism” though I never said Sans didn’t have ADHD (+ autism (AuDHD) and then the same people will say “Papyrus is the autistic one”

I don’t care if you’re an autism advocate, I don’t care if you’re the nicest person on earth, and I don’t give a fuck if you’re even a proshipper, I can’t help but lose all my respect for that person. I’m sorry, and I’m not trying to be mean, but when you’ve been unheard for years and you have yet to feel validated and HC whatever you want guilt free, I’m fucking blocking you.

Also, yeah this one is also a controversial take, and ranks #2 on my list, which is saying, “people saying Papyrus is 13 (or 16 if you will) is infantilizing an autistic adult” Like, no the fuck it’s not.

“Papyrus is 13” is not infantilization, it’s a FUCKING HEADCANON!!!

Treating an adult like a child IS infantilization though, but the HC only included AGE.

And the people who believe all autistic coded characters who often get labeled as a child, in terms of age, and not necessarily the way they’re acting, believe that’s how autistic people act, universally. That’s fucking dumb, you guys. I’m sorry.

Anyway, yeah. That all I’m going to say, today. You could probably just tell I was angry just writing that. 😅

⚠️autism headcanon (Again)⚠️

Handplates, and comic strip belongs to Zarla (not me)

So you know how a lot of people reflect Sans and Papyrus’ past in handplates to their own writing of Sans and Papyrus, as if it were a theory (ie: handplates)? And like in this comic strip, Sans and Papyrus are learning to talk, and that personally reminds me of them once being non verbal, but not for long (and ofc them eventually talking normally), and not for long, at least for me, meaning, I was actually nonverbal up until I was 4.

Yes you read that right. I really was non verbal, and I also had other support needs, but I believe they said I had “moderate autism” when I was diagnosed, and I just kept leveling up.

And knowing not all autistic kids start as being non verbal, thinking about (my) “handplates theory” makes me relate to them even more.

Also, the reason I’m tagging Fontcest is because I’m targeting this towards people with this headcanon and not the ones with proship DNI, like I did last time.

And again, just like last time, I’m also tagging the Sarah and Penelope tags, because this also applies to them.
