Create a scene using mostly Onomatopoeia to describe the setting. You do not have to write the entire narrative using them, but attempt to limit your descriptions to sentences and phrases containing them. If you need examples, look here.
Taduk, taduk, taduk!
An elegant destrier armored in Truefeather crimson, gold, and blue hurtled across the jousting field toward the opponent.
Kashht, kashht, kashht...
Ellasha’s armor rustled with each loping step of the horse. Her sights were set firm ahead, honed into razor focus on the knight across from her, riding with equal determination.
Taduk, kashht, taduk, kashht, taduk!
The destrier swallowed the field under its massive strides. The opponent grew nearer, nearer, and nearer, until...!
KANG!
Ellasha struck, and her challenger parried.
Ffffgggk! Taduk, taduk, taduk...
Ellasha swore and kicked her heels into her steed’s flank to press it onward for another loop.
Taduk, kashht, taduk, kashht, taduk! BWOOOONGGGGGGGGG!
On the second go around her lance connected with her opponent’s shield.
Ksheen!
His lance glanced off her shoulder-plate.
Taduk, taduk, taduk, taduk, taduk!
Another loop. He was getting closer. She held firm to her lance and bared her teeth at him from behind her helmet, then struck with unrelenting force - no holding back for this opponent.
CLUNK-- oomph!
The air whooshed out of her opponent’s lungs as she unhorsed him.
HA-HAA!
She crowed, light with the fierce beauty of triumph.
Ggguhhh... fffck.
Her opponent rolled over in the grass - shffft, ssk - and ripped off his helmet, staring breathless at the rosy afternoon sky with his golden hair wreathed around him.
Thuft, thuft, thuft. Thud!
Her horse gracefully trotted over to him and she leapt down from the saddle to crouch by the defeated Sin’dorei with a teasing look on her face and mirth in her voice. “Try harder next time, Telchis!”
Mailed to the soldiers of the Sunguard

Entry 07. Wine & Roast
Entry 07. What is the most memorable meal in your character's life?
Ellasha Blacksun watched the orange firelight cast dancing shadows across the stoic countenance of Telchis Truefeather. His long ears flickered with the sounds of the pine forest around their makeshift camp and his clover eyes were glazed in reverie. The air was blessedly temperate in these Emberlight mountains despite being in the depths of winter - courtesy of the warm ocean winds blowing over the mountains. She reached toward the spit to give the roast a spin and sniffed delicately at the meat.
"A few more minutes, and I think it will be ready."
Telchis' attention rose to her and immediately his eyes softened from whatever had haunted him previously. War in Northrend was looming on the horizon, and this was such an ordinary excursion. The sort of thing civilians with lives in towns away from the horrors of the Scourge and Necromancers embarked upon.
"I hope you are as fine a cook as you claim to be," Telchis quipped with a wry smile. Ellasha rolled her eyes, but she could not help the answering smirk that curved the corners of her lips.
They ate, then, and stuffed themselves full of meat and wine they had packed all the way from the Dawnspire. It turned out that campfire cooking was the only sort of cooking that Ellasha knew how to accomplish. They laughed as they interchanged jokes and innuendos about what exactly Ellasha could do with meat.
It was happy and untainted by the weight of what awaited them in Northrend.
As the wine settled in and the fire reduced to embers, Ellasha sprawled in Telchis' lap and listened to him tell stories of his past and even lowered enough of her barriers to return the favor. This was trust, she had thought to herself. He was something more than just her lover - he was her dearest friend. She was never a poet nor one prone to outspoken declarations of love, but she yielded that evening and poured out her heart to the Truefeather heir. Both feet in the water. He rewarded her with making love beneath the stars, painstakingly attending to her pleasures.
This memory she held close in the wake of the campaign against the Bleeding Eye - a spot of sunshine in the dreadful post-war fog.
Ellasha: The Bloodsworn rose abruptly to her feet upon that last confession given by the love of her life. Swifter than a snake, her fingers were curled around his jaw and her chartreuse eyes alight with burning intensity. "Take it back." She growled, but a note of desperation erased the severity of the tone. "I know what it is to feel failure in your bones. You need only to look as far as my service as a Royal Guard for evidence of that stands before you." She draws a deep breath. "I will not pretend that I have not had similar thoughts at times. But this..." She brandishes her left hand, where the diamond rested gleaming upon her finger. "This changes everything. You do not get to wish for death when it is life that stands before. Life and /promise/. Hope. Future. Love. Your father was a soldier and he died fighting. Do not erase the significance of his sacrifice by wishing to be in his stead."
Telchis: Her words snatched him from whatever haze his mind lingered. They cut through the fog of memory and galvanized his senses. His eyes looked first to her hand where a diamond shone in the flickering candlelight. “There wicked guilt that I feel in my core. Something so deep and terrible that it rips apart my insides. I speak out of pain, not in reality. My father fought and died as he swore to do. He fought so we may live. I will honor that sacrifice until my dying breath. I will live for the both of us. You know this Ellasha. You know of the pain that I speak of. You know the thoughts that shadow your mind, eating away at your consciousness. You know the dagger’s edge of the ‘what ifs’ and how they draw blood in your heart. It is through his actions that I stand here today and we are all alive to rebuild."
Ellasha: With a short bow, she tipped her head to steel a long kiss from him. "It is alright to feel pain," she whispers. "But remember that you are strong. My unyielding pillar. We will see this through to the other side." She promised, eyes steadfast upon his own.
