Ah well hope you can go. Because if you don’t AND @hypnoticmermaid @meerkatsova @emeraldetymologies don’t then I might not go at all. While I don’t doubt that I could still have a good enough time.... I’d rather save money to do something with everyone and/or just us.

I had assumed that was still the case. But you’re generally backlogged so even if you had one and say, pokemon XY/ORAS you still wouldn’t really have time to play, right? I’ll be sure to bring my 3DS with a Oshowatt so you can play with in in Pokemon Amie. :p

Ah I guess you’ll be using up a lot of off days the weekend before. Hopefully something can still work out and you can get the whole nine yards! I guess you all can coordinate that. I wanted to do Flash Sentry with my friend Kyla as Sunset Shimmer... Buuuut I’m not even sure she will be able to come or cosplay if she does. The head veterinarian hasn’t allowed anyone to “smother her with love” since she bit the receptionist quite hard. :p She hisses but at least lets us change her water, food, an litter. Poor thing is just really scared.

Definitely something hard. Perhaps something individually wrapped so if they fall on the floor they're still good? Kisses seem a little cliche for that option as well

Hey question because I can't find the post and my memory sucks, what sorts of pony merch do your friends make? I have this neat fabric I was going to make a Celestia skirt out of, and I was thinking of maybe doing a bunch of them for different ponies, since we mentioned maybe vending together next year, but I don't want to do something too similar to what they make

About 'God's law', I haven't watched the episode yet, but I'm guessing they use the word 'kami', which often gets translated as 'god' but is a bit more nuanced than that. If they did use 'kami' maybe 'divine law' would have been a better translation?

I do remember hearing the word 'kami', yeah, which often gets translated as 'god' (and did as well in the manga) which is why it's entirely possible that I'm missing some language/cultural stuff here!  And yet, even knowing that, I know this is a bit of a fool's errand to go down this path, because we'll never get concrete answers.  (But that's not going to stop me, because it's fun and interesting to talk about it anyway!)If anyone has a better grasp of that line/can point out discussion of it, I'd love to read it, too.  ♥
