there is something so, so sweet about readers asking authors about little details regarding a fic- things that aren't necessarily important to the plot, just details about the characters' interests, or more precision on their feelings. idk, i find it just really sweet to see someone's interest & investment in a fic made them wonder about things that really only are important to their imagination
I loved that we saw another side of Luca and Federica. We can see that they are growing up especially Luchino, he's not the same funny guy we met at the beginning of s2 but he's now a more mature version of that same character. And it was great to finally hear Federica talk about the "Federicona" thing, it was about time and it was nice that it happened with Elia of all people and the hug was just sweet. I'm happy with the way it went.
random musings on the mood of a strong, summer thunderstorm:
heat that clings to your skin—dewy with a sheen of sweat, but it turns to prickled goosebumps when the breeze smooths over you.
the roll of thunder starts out dull, but it gets deeper, cracks louder, as it gets closer. you can see the sky darkening—inky blue like the color of the deep ocean—and drawing together.
there's a heaviness to the air; the potential for the pour of rain to start at any second, but for a moment all of the unspilt energy just hangs, suspended in the clouds above.
what fic should I focus on?

feeling so sappy today, but I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you who follows me :') my writing progress has been so stagnant these days, but I thank you all sincerely for sticking around 😭 you all are angels <333
I don’t think people understand how easy it is for me to cut a celebrity out of my life. It’s actually effortless when you stop liking them.
Loki is fun character but he is stupid. Thor seems to be stupid but aktualny is a smart guy.
I’ve seen Loki (and even Thor’s) hare-brained moments as less of an indicator of their intelligence and more a consequence of their arrogance and pride.
I know I always say “dumbass gods”/“bimbo gods” but if I were to actually think about their characters it’s a bit deeper than that. Loki has always been praised for his intelligence.
He knows he’s above average intelligence. That’s how his mastery of sorcery has come to be. So when he gets caught doing something stupid it’s not because he’s not clever. It’s because he couldn’t bother to cross his Ts and dot his Is. He is confident he knows what he’s doing and his miscalculations is what gets him in trouble.
Thor’s pride is sourced differently. He sees himself as superior in physical strength so he sees himself above human conventional standards. So when he winds up in funny gags, it’s not because he’s below average intelligence, it’s because he believes he knows better and it blows up in his face.
It’s been said intelligence is not determined by a person’s ability to memorize and recall information, but their ability to unlearn and relearn information. Judging by the way Thor and Loki are willing to disregard the way they previously understood information and adapt to their new surroundings, perhaps they’re actually quite intelligent. 🤔
