Something happened in the episode this week?

yes apparently! From what I gather, Chris and Peter were not only in the same room, not only did they interact for the first time ever on screen, but Peter gripped Chris's nape and touched their foreheads together... before impaling Chris in the gut with something. Like rebar maybe? And pinning him to the wall with it. I don't know what any of the dialogue was, of course, but all the delightful Petopher shippers are coming up with reasons why Peter behaved so intimately with Chris when last week he responded not so well to Meredith touching him. And why such violence--such nonlethal violence because obviously Chris was rescued and I'm sure he'll be fine after like five minutes. The show doesn't care that Braeden got shot like three episodes ago because she's totally healed, lol--was necessary. People are saying that Chris and Peter have *~a past~*.

I agree, the cinematography was very well done. I just wasn’t dazzled enough by it to ignore the problems of the movie. Namely how horrific it got at some points. I’ve got enough gore in my head. I don’t want to add more just because it was shiny.

Yeah, I'm really into that kind of shiny. I'm like that bug who flies into the bug zapper because it's so pretty. So I don't really have the best taste in things because they can make it pretty enough that I'll just be blinded to the bad stuff. So yeah. I might  try to give it a skip...

I’m gonna go with not. I didn’t particularly enjoy the first one. So I won’t go out of my way to see the second one. Mostly, right now, my financial situation is that I go out for Marvel movies and that’s about it.

well, I'm in the lucky position of totally mooching off my family, who will take me to see whatever. So I can be a lot less discerning. I just, I don't want to sit through a bunch of super problematic stuff... But the first Sin City, I thought it was really pretty? And so I think I was dazzled by pretty filmography and CGI and selective B&W, so dazzled that I just didn't even notice how awful it was.

so I dunno. Maybe... maybe I should find alternate means of seeing it. Or maybe I should wait until it's on cable or something. I just know I'm gonna be like wow shiny... and it'll hypnotize me into sitting through gross scenes.
