idc that this is mainly kinda pretty trashy, the central storyline is still one of my faves. also Vanessa Redgrave is fantastic in this. also ELLEN HAI U QUEEN OF QUEERMOS. also other things.

obvs lots of things it could do better but the lesbian feminist separatist vs. "old school" lesbian culture dynamics are super interesting and not covered in any mainstream film I know of, plus some of the gender ID/presentation stuff. plus, also, Chloë Sevigny.
