Do you think it's important that Ellen didn't ask about any couples other than Zerrie?

Absolutely.

I think she did this because she knows the actual story and refuses to talk about it. She only asked about Zerrie because there is a distinguishable difference between them and the other couples. (bc they are engaged) She only said “so none of you have problems getting dates then i assume” or something along those lines, but never references who is single/in a relationship. (she did that the last time they were on her show) I think Ellen knows about H&L and is trying to make them as comfortable as possible. She will most likely be a huge support system for them in the future.
