Someone threatening to kill themselves to get an ex to come back is exactly emotional abuse (using emotional manipulation to control a current or former intimate partner), and I gotta be honest, whenever I talk to someone who says "He says he'll kill himself if I leave" when said person is also being abusive in other ways, it takes everything in me not to say, "Where is he? I'll bring him some bullets." Because fuck 'em. They're abusers. (Sorry, just had to hope you weren't feeling bad.)

I just wanted to say I appreciate your response to "the letter." I hope you are having a much better 2014 and that you have as amazing a time on October 7th as I had on September 27th and December 10th of 2013. They put on a magnificent show. For your anon about hearing loss: any loud noise can damage the tiny hairs inside your ears, but to my knowledge, there has never been someone who "went deaf" because of one concert. If you are concerned, wear earplugs. I wore them to stand close for an outdoor NIN show once, and it worked out great. I wore them to a Mars show last year though, and I didn't really need them & took them out b/c we were in a smaller venue and they didn't have the settings as loud.

This! I thought about the earplugs but I forgot to mention it.

I'm sure Shannon is getting much better. He can kick anything's ass! I do think his coffee facts are queued somehow, like was said, with HootSuite or whatever. Now, he may be the one who has queued them, but they're already set to go out. Either that or a Hive minion has taken them over. He's having an extended media vacation.
