Fic Rec Tag Game

There is so much good and wonderful fic out there, and if like me you’re using fic as a coping mechanism in these weird weird days perhaps your fic cupboard is looking a little bare? Let’s fix that. 

Rules: Spell out your user name using titles of fics you like and/or love -  any fic that you enjoy for any reason whatsoever. Then tag at least one fandom friend to do the same. WARNING! Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you, @elliebear75 I hope you had a great Christmas and that 2020 is your best year yet. I was hoping to write a fic but my muse is in hiding. I blame you know who. If (when?) I finish it I will of course dedicate it to you. In the mean time I hope you enjoy this drawing.

11. If you could only write angst, fluff, or smut for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Fluff, and it is NOT a contest!

12. Is there a trope you haven’t written yet but really want to?

I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m dying to write them, but I’m a little annoyed with myself that I’ve never focused in on a lot of the Big Fluffy Fanfiction Tropes: among all my stories, you’ll only catch glimpses of the characters sharing the one bed, nary a coffee shop has appeared, and I don’t think I’ve ever trapped anyone with an inconvenient snowstorm/elevator stoppage, and honestly I’m ashamed of myself!

13. Is there a trope you wouldn’t write if it was the last trope on earth?

An absolute TON of smutty tropes (Omegaverse, shape-shifting, tentacles, and sex pollen come to mind), but also some that don’t have to be smutty but often are like slave society or sex worker type AUs.

Hello all! A question...will there be a Smutathon 2019 Collection in July? Or will it be postponed until fall to allow for S:4 inspiration for writers?

Yes. Exactly that.  

We’ve extended our last chance Fic Fix challenge until July 15th.  

We’re saving Smut-a-Thon 2019 until after S4 airs, so our peeps can draw inspiration from the NINE love scenes (assuming Dax wasn’t exaggerating).  Dates to be announced later.

#3. What random objects to you use as bookmarks?

Welll I’m not a book purist by any measure, I don’t need all my books to be pristine and pretty looking. The more used a book is, the more it’s been loved and read and cared for. So when it comes to my books, honestly, I usually just dog ear pages.

But for other people’s books, I make sure to use whatever’s at hand... and more often than not that’s a clean Kleenex or scrap of toilet paper, since I do most of my reading on my special Reading Throne (the toilet).
