I mean business-wise it's brilliant bc they know people will buy them, but yeah, I don't think the amiibos are much more than characters/skins to add to games. I think *maybe* you can play w/them but idk for sure. My sisters have some but I don't.

it is for making money but damn it’s kinda unfair. on top of console price and the ever rising price of the actual games it seems like a lot just for a little bit of dlc and a kinda cool thing to put on your shelf.
