Ensemble 2023 LotR Musical references

I've been collecting reference images of lots of the cast and characters for my own art, so I thought I'd just share them collected here as well so others don't have to slog through the Instagram and crop images and screenshot videos etc. These are all from the Watermill Theatre Instagram/website/reviews, with most photos credited to Pamela Raith.

Beendeten den diesjährigen, gar nicht mal soo dichtgedrängten Theaterexzess dann doch noch mit einem F. Scott Fitzgerald-Stoff, mit dem frisch zum besten-neuen-Musical-Olivier-Award-Gewinner ernannten The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Es gibt diesen berüchtigten Film, den ich wohl auch weiter vermeiden werde, aber hier, unerwarterweise in cornischem Fischerdorf und mit den Schauspielern auch als die Musiker (das freut uns ja immer) ist es ganz wunderbar. Man muss seine Zeit nutzen. Der vielgepriesene ebenfalls-Olivieraward-Gewinner John Dagleish ist leider nicht da gewesen, aber John Salter ist auch ganz grandios, auch wenn wir nicht ganz verstehen, wie es funktioniert, wenn die Umbesetzung ein anderes Instrument spielt, als die vorgesehene, aber irgendwie funktioniert es.
