i don't know if it's just me but ron's attitude towards elliot doesn't feel like he's actually being cold to him like their back and forth almost feels like it's presented as banter which is bizarre to me because it would be more than justified for ron to genuinely be upset with his father

and sure they threw in a line about how elliot only woke up from a coma five years ago but that still leaves the question of why he did not reach out to his son afterwards because fine he could not have done anything to prevent the bloody field trip incident from happening but up until toto came into his life ron was all by himself

also not to mention everything that happened with milo would have happened after elliot woke up so why did he not directly interfere when milo was making ron suffer why wait for alice to show up to reveal himself
