Help me with my new OC?

I've been thinking of this new OC, but I am very indecicive over him. So hear me out: 

I want him to look like this big scary guy in daily life. Morthers would pull their kids away from him. He's big, strong and has a grumpy face, and he's black. (African American) He can't get a job and lives of the money he gets from the govnerment (not sure about this part) because at night he is a superhero.

Of course in reality he's a real nice guy, and an emotional softy. He doesn't like hurting people, unless they are baaaad people. But, these are the questions I need you to answer:

1. What kind of powers should he have? Superstrenght, telekenesis, elemental power, (magic girl) I think it will be funny if he has powers that are really cute normally, but since he is so strong with then it;s scary. (like he can manipulate flowers or shoot little stars from his hands...)

2. Is he human or Alien/ a god/experiment gone wrong? Maybe his parents were scientist that did this bu accident, and that is why the goverment knows about it?

4. Would you be willing to rp this guy with me?

A few more things that popped up: I think he is generally okey with his powers, but that sometimes it is a curse? Maybe sometimes he can't contol them.. Is there a superhero you'd like to make? They can be superhero roommates, or he can be a normal guy that doesn't know how to deal with him. Or he is stuck with him, like that babysitter Hellboy has. Though he has a different temper than Hellboy.
