How can I not love Chile? San Pedro de Atacama is the most beautiful place I've ever visited. Yes I've seen many beautiful places in the world but this is the most breathtaking amongst them all. It felt right out of a postcard! 🇨🇱 . The flight from Buenos Aires to Santiago was memorable. A gentlemen from the other side of the aisle started talking to me, asking if that was my first time, then recommended going up Gran Torre, the tallest skyscraper in Latin America! I was still uncomfortable as people behind and in front of us were eavesdropping and when you're the only brown Asian in the plane, you're one hell of a target. My defence mechanism was all up for sure. I was so wrong about that stranger. Apparently, Chileans are friendly people. Super-duper friendly! I have that stranger to thank for the view of the magnificent Andes and the whole city from Gran Torre. Barrio Bella vista and Valparaiso truly have my heart. . I've always wanted to see the Andes since Shakira released Whenever Wherever in 2001. I still watch the music video every now and then (who can resist that jump from the mountain, the beautiful black horses, and her dance!) 15 years later, I finally flew over the majestic mountains! "Is this your first time here?" asked the cheery Sky Airline staff. "Let me get you the window seat so you can see the beautiful mountains." The flight from Santiago to Calama was A-MA-ZING. . San Pedro de Atacama... Hands down, the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
