I know the teens-played-by-adults post wasn't yours but the reason teens aren't played by teens in movies/TV is because there are child labor laws that only allow them to work very restricted hours and require them to go to school so it's inconvenient and filming would take more time which subsequently costs more. kids are played by kids because 1 no adult could ever pass for a child whereas some adults can pass for teens and 2 they generally have smaller parts so the labor laws don't interfere.

That’s unfortunate, however the damage is already done b/c I spent like 5 years wondering why I wasn’t as tall or muscular as Zac Efron when I was still growing so oh well hopefully the problem will be fixed one day or at the very least a disclaimer stating the actors are actually 20+ so kids won’t beat themselves up
