I finished The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffith and The House in Dormer Forest by Mary Webb.

This is the second time

Mary has set fire to everything so now I am convinced she was a closet pyromaniac. It has a House of Usher feel to it, the lives of the inmates of the house having been rendered impossible by their faults so the house itself has to go.

Now reading Mania by Lionel Shriver.
