In very typical Fagin fashion, the two somewhat friendships that he’d been growing were down the pan. At least that was how he saw them currently. They definitely weren’t in good standing. To be fair, the friendships with both Crystal and Astrid had began with sex - So were they ever destined to go very well? There was one other sort of person outside of the group who Fagin had always got along with relatively decently though, and that was Eloise. Perhaps it was time Fagin put a bit more effort into that avenue. So, he’d invited her over to the house. It was something he’d initially been very scared of doing but the fling with Crystal proved it really wasn’t as scary as he’d thought it’d be.
Having Eloise in his room felt just as weird as having Crystal in his room had though. Having anyone in his room felt weird. The walls were practically bare. The floorboards were all exposed as result of no carpet. His sheets were perpetually an off-white, and his clothes were falling out of his wardrobe. It was extremely minimalistic, but not through choice. Spliff in hand, Fagin shuffled back on his bed so that his back was against the wall. “I just don’t understand,” He closed his eyes in thought. “If your man is as boring as he sounds --- Why’s he still your man?” One eye opened. “I always figured you’d go for some wild crazy guy. Heck if you were going for one-note personalities, I’d have been a better option.” Both eyes opened as his face cracked into a grin. | @pompcm
