- Eloise has always been a bit of an oddball; a basket case, really. From birth, the odds of a reasonably normal life definitely were not in her favor. Eloise’s chances of survival were astonishingly low. Unfortunately, she was born at 30 weeks, thus she was underweight and her heartbeat was weak, and it was plummeting rapidly. She was rushed straight to surgery due to the underdevelopment of her lungs and of her heart. The monotonous sounds of the heavy machines along with Eloise’s need for dependency—as she hung onto her life in a tight incubator—was enough for her family to almost let go of her. However, just when all hope had vanished, Eloise opened her eyes and a light giggle passed her lips. She was a mysterious girl, that Eloise, and this was merely the beginning of her story.
- Eloise translates into “famous in war” which in a way, describes her personality perfectly. She is rather a klutz, who haphazardly throws herself into difficult situations and friendships but amazingly, always manages to come out on the other side with minimal battle wounds. She has tough skin - maybe that comes from her struggle at birth - but she thrives on challenging the system and herself, and keeps her fingers crossed for a good result. Wren comes from her mother’s favorite bird and that defines Eloise so perfectly. Eloise is such a carefree individual; who is unafraid of what people think of her. That’s also the reasoning behind her childhood nickname: Birdie. When others were far too concerned over keeping their hair dry from the rain that practically flooded Michigan - her first home - on occasions, Eloise was running wildly in the storm—rolling in the puddles, and laughing just as crazily. That’s when she felt most free—away from the gender stereotypes, away from the harsh judgement. She didn’t see the point in categorizing her interests and what she chose to wear. She was happy enough to not care, and it was one less worry on her mind full of thoughts.
-For most of her life, it’s just her, her siblings and her mother and father. Her mom and Eloise have a strong connection, and she’s always be the one who really knows what Eloise is thinking and what goes on in her mind. It’s a messy mind, but somehow, her mom brings her back down to reality and keeps her grounded and safe. She has been her rock through it all: from her middle school crush drama, and a poor grade in an English assignment. She and her dad, however, are oil and water; constantly bickering and are not able to see eye to eye with one another. He never understood Eloise’s need to climb trees and ride around on her cousin’s skateboard. He just didn’t understand the person Eloise was. His idea of the perfect daughter was screwed up in Eloise’s hands and thrown away in the nearest garbage bin. Thankfully his job as a doctor at the local hospital kept him preoccupied a majority of the time, so heated arguments dimmed when work became his highest priority. The absence suited Eloise most days. But sometimes, you just need a warm heart-to-heart with the person who is meant to matter most to you. Eloise just gets a somewhat sympathetic pat on the back.
- Eloise has always been an interesting individual who fails to be described in few words. Her beaming smile and the twinkle in her eyes attracts people near and far. She enjoys being with others, and she stimulates company whenever she possibly can. She possesses the essence of a happy-go-lucky spirit, and thus this results in the pathological need to be the center of attention at all times. And everyone is addicted of her infectious, yet dangerous personality. Eloise is fearless. She seeks the feeling of thrill and adventure and is willing to break all of the rules and take all of the risks given to her. This means she can easily dive headfirst into unfamiliar situations, and come out on the other side perfectly unscathed. She was always the first person to speak up in class; the first person to offer her say in advice, and the first person to break the ice when surrounded by new people. It’s always been like that: Eloise loves the unknown. She is intrigued by fresh concepts, and she wants to take them as her own without any forward planning. Because of her love of spontaneity, she is always automatically assigned the role of the ringleader in her friendship groups. Not only is she the life of the party, but she is also assertive and dominant, making her an ideal leader. Maybe that’s the inner reason why Eloise is attracted to the idea of directing and producing. The concept of being in control, and having her say in all matters, big or small, fills her with so much ease. Being too far in the background is never quite her style. Eloise isn’t too much of a fan of negativity energy so she likes to maintain a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing. She swears by yoga, and mediating: finding inner peace in herself is crucial for Eloise’s confidence and demeanor. Exercising has been a huge interest for Eloise, regardless of how much she complains about it. It’s done wonders not just her body, but her state of mind. If she’s battling any stresses, she finds herself running or at the gym as a distraction. As much as she loves her junk food (who doesn’t, right?), Eloise is a devoted vegetarian. This is partially due to moral reasoning behind the way animals are sometimes treated. She isn’t all about rubbing it in anyone’s face though. This is her way of living, and although she desperately would love for people to join her, she understands that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. This is the one time Eloise is willing not to fight and argue about differing opinions.
- Eloise is also ridiculously clever, and people underestimate her intellectual abilities. She may be more fond of retreating to the back of a classroom, and doodling aimlessly in her notebook or making wise cracks with her friends, but when it comes to her school work, she is nothing but serious. Words and letters come easily to her; she always has something to say and she will let you know exactly what she thinks when she thinks it. Almost like a terrible case of word vomit. Most importantly, Eloise has goals. She wants to make something of herself. She is always looking for chances to better herself, and push herself to limits she’d never attempt to cross before. Her father, being successful, inspired her to stand up and go for what she truly believes in, and she is determined to thrive in the Pine Grove school environment. Especially in the potential career of Law in the near future. Eloise doesn’t give off the physical impression of a typical lawyer. Whilst lawyers are notably known as hard cases who lack emotion and any heart, she has starlight in her smile, so naturally, she radiates a certain warmth. But she knows how to get serious, and knows how to put up a fight. She has strong beliefs, and if anyone was to question her thought process or her words, she isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes is right. In high school, there was never not a time where she avoided the opportunity to speak up. She was an avid debater - she even brought her team to the national championships, claiming a title as Best Speaker. She knows what people demand to hear, and she will satisfy their every need. She will happily take on advice and feedback but at the end of the day, she knows that no one else has control of what she feels; only her. She felt as if Law was the perfect opportunity for her to prove that she is more than just an extroverted ray of sunshine.
- Of course, her career and the occasional relationship were a constant, but her social life was her highest priority. She certainly tried her best, however, to maintain a balance between everything. She would work hard whilst in class, and in the evenings, she always manages to let her hair out, and have a little fun and enjoy herself. Right now, Eloise isn’t entirely all for maintaining a tied down relationship. She finds a lot easier to concentrate on the physical part of a relationship than the emotional, and this all falls back onto the fact that she finds it easier to put herself out there, rather to keep herself enclosed and restrained. Overall, Eloise is the girl who everyone wants to know, and who everyone wants to be. She was just naturally lovable. She loved making people laugh with odd comments, facial expressions, and mannerisms. Her natural personality could entertain an abundance of people, and she was more than thrilled by that. She puts all of her energy into sports, and addressing political issues. Eloise loves to throw out her opinions in the open air, and this can make her come across as aggressive but she means well. She just feels so strongly about matters that are of importance to her. She can’t help that. The equal rights for women feminist movement, and the global protection of our planet and environment are huge topics in Eloise’s mind, and she tries day in and day out to make her mark in the world.
