sky pirates fic part 1 bb

Stiles Stilinski, son of Sky Sheriff Stilinski, is so fucking done with this shit. He's not allowed to train to be a pilot because he gets skysick with dangerous manouvres, so he's stuck staring at maps all day. 

Maps are boring as hell. Stiles doesn't want to be a cartographer, he wants to see the world - not just the sky, the ground too. 

He hangs out on the ship - officially, it's known as SkyPD1 but everyone calls it GuardDog - because he's got nowhere else to go, and he's surrounded almost entirely by other - boring as shit - adults. Scott is the only other teenager around who'll talk to Stiles, son of the resident nurse on SkyPD1, and he's great and all, but he doesn't get Stiles' yearning for adventure.

Scott enjoys cartography. It's horrifying. 

There's Lydia, too, who Stiles has been holding a torch for for forever, but she's like a freaking mathematical genius and Stiles is under explicit instructions from her parents and his dad to give her space. She's with Jackson or she's with her schoolwork, and there's no room for Stiles in that. 

So Stiles gets lonely, and bored. And almost never does his work: in reality, Stiles probably spends most of the time on the airship badgering his dad. Most of the time they're just patrolling, but occasionally they get into battles or chases, and Stiles likes to be informed.

If he can't watch due to his skysickness, he'd like to at least know what's going on. 

The deputies have been talking in low voices a lot lately, being quiet when he enters the room. Something big is going on, he knows it, but nobody will tell him what it is. 

A++ perfect i don't even care about this show but sky pirates
