The Zenith Defy El Primero 21 Chronograph is such an incredible machine. There’s so much thoughtful detail throughout that it’s hard to not appreciate everything all at once. There’s a level of applicability and of real-world functionality that is so consistent through the entire El Primero range that is the real winner here. Oh, and not to mention the mesmerising 1/100th of a second chronograph (that’s a whopping 360,000 VpH or 50Hz, as opposed to the typical 36,000 VpH or 5Hz of its normal escapement) in the Defy El Primero 21.
