Sneaking off for some alone time had become common place. With a house full of kids and constant visitors, it was getting harder to just be ~them~.

"C'mon Li'. Just an innocent make-out session." Don says slyly.

"It's NEVER innocent with you." Liana giggles as she's pulled into the closet.

After pulling herself together, Liana headed outside to tend to her plasma fruit when she noticed that Nylah and her daughter Francine decided to stop by for a visit.

Liana was happy to see that Nylah was adjusting well to vampirism. Since she wasn't born into the line like her younger brother Antonio, Liana had wondered if she did the right thing for her daughter.

"Okay, son. Your birthday will be here before we know it and I think it's time to start showing you the basics. THIS is a plasma pack." Don proudly exclaimed as he struggled to suck out of the straw.

"And THIS is the vamp scowl." Don weakly pawed at the air in an attempt to be menacing.

"Dad, please." Antonio snickered, "You're embarrassing yourself in front of mom."

Don quickly turned and went to the couch in an effort to salvage any dignity he had left. Liana swiftly came up behind him and showed Antonio how it's done.

Antonio smiled to himself, deciding that his mom was the cool parent.

The Family - Eternal Love 09

It's almost fall and working for San Myshuno Times as a lifestyle vlogger had been a fun distraction for Liana.

"...and that's why I ~LOVE~ going to Cisco's. The food is always different and to ~die~ for." Liana suavely ends the video review of Francisco's popular new restaurant in Newcrest and flops onto bed.

Liana senses the birth of her third grandchild and realizes that she's done it. She's completed her aspiration. Everything she's ever wanted she's gotten. The home, the family, the love, and the friends.

She whispers to herself, "It's done."

Realizing just how young she was, being immortal and all, Liana decided it was time to set some new goals. At this point, she had already turned Don, Lily, Nylah, and Francisco who was now her son-in-law.

"Why stop there?" She smiled mischievously and made up her mind to extend her immortal family and become the undead matriarch of Willow Creek.

Later that night while Liana and Don took a midnight dip in the hot tub, she decided to fill him in on her plans for the future.

They turned to one another and when their eyes met they both knew that they were in it together.

Aya Matsumoto had been the family nanny from the start. She had helped Liana when she needed it most and never judged her, even when she turned. Knowing that as an elder Aya would soon pass on, Liana offered her eternal life as a thank you for her loyal service throughout the years. Aya accepts.

Changes - Eternal Love 08

Still brooding, Liana took advantage of the warm summer night and decided to ~attempt~ to relax in the pool.

When that did nothing for her she stormed inside and vented to Don. She immediately felt better, and Don quickly noticed how odd it was for her to have an outburst. Out of the two of them, Liana was always the more level-headed.

She decided to read one of the tomes that Vlad left her and learned that the emotions of vampires are sometimes heightened. Happy to learn why she was feeling so off, she went to have a talk with Antonio.

As her first vampire child, Liana could sense Antonio's growing power, and knew that one day he would have to deal with the good and the bad of being different from other sims. She explained what she read in the tome and he was happy to have a candid talk about vampirism and felt bonded to his mom.

Meanwhile, Don went out for a drink. He couldn't help but think about what Liana was feeling. He thought she was happy, that ~they~ were happy.

Old insecurities popped into his head one after the other.

"What if she gets tired of me too? Will she really want to be with me forever?"

A few days later, Don had come home from work, and Liana couldn't help but notice that working so hard for his team was definitely paying off for him in the looks department.

"I love you, you know that?" She says with a wink.

He can't help but feel guilty for doubting their love at that moment.

"I love you more, Li", he says back.

Eternal Love 07

(I'm sorry about the plumbobs! they'll be gone once I'm done with the lore part of this story to catch everyone up.)

When Don and Liana met, he loved everything about her. From her humor to her style, and most importantly, her stellar looks and reputation. Before her, Don was a stranger to the concept of true love.

Even though Liana had gone on a couple of dates with his friend Marcus, Don knew he couldn't let her get away and left his player ways behind.

So after getting into a fist fight with Marcus over his love, and losing, he decided that he had to prove that his feelings were eternal and not just some turf war with his former friend. At Nylah's YA birthday party, Don snuck away with Liana and decided to ask her to turn him. She was surprised because she knew the burden that he was asking to carry, especially since his pro athlete career was taking off but she agreed. After all, her immortality and the loneliness she felt at the idea of her family aging without her was on her mind.

Vampirism was still taboo in Willow Creek, even though most sims acknowledged their existence. That fact made it hard to get plasma packs and the plasma fruit trees Liana planted weren't bearing fruit yet.

Don's thirst wasn't as easily quenched as his master's, which made him desperate, and while out in the city for his daily workout he couldn't help but secretly drink from a paparazzi.

Meanwhile, even though Liana can go a lot longer without a drink, the drought was affecting her as well. She snuck off to Bob's "quaint" apartment for a deep drink.

After all, he was on her shit list.

Since Don moved the family to a mansion he had built in Pendula View, Liana threw a summer house party to meet the neighbors and get everyone together. Bob cheated on Eliza in front of everyone with Gemma Charm, (who also tried to seduce Don) and he and Eliza promptly divorced.

As she sat in his apartment feeling full and satisfied, Liana wondered if she'd gone too far.

Liana found success as a chef, even though she never opened the restaurant she once dreamed of, and after that she achieved fame as an artist. But lately her only occupation has been being a stay-at-home mom and a hot vampire.

While she was helping Maliyah with a school project, the boredom was written on her face.

"Mom, I love you, but please get a life. You aren't even helping."

Following her daughter's blunt advice, Liana applied for a job at San Myshuno Times. She figures since she has an eye for food and art and she's best friends with one of San Myshuno's elite, it'd be a good time waster, at least for now.

The Baby Shower - Eternal Love 06

Nylah arrived to her baby shower feeling depressed and full of anxiety. Even though she and her mom shared many qualities, the ability to go with the flow wasn’t one of them.

Still, she looked forward to the gathering and seeing all of her family and friends.

In the end, the baby shower was a success and the couple was surrounded with love and support.

With the Lotharios, Fengs, Bjergsens and Liana’s new vampire family, there was no shortage of influence and power. Liana realized this as she sat through the toasts and gift giving.

Spring ended with the birth of Francine Feng, Liana’s second grandchild, and for a while life continued on with little excitement. Looking back on it, Liana appreciated the normality because she knew that eventually the elephant in the room had to be addressed. Her immortality, her family’s mortality and the reality that she might out live them all.

Ciara Feng is Francisco’s sister and Nylah’s best friend. She’s the definition of a city girl with her big personality and even bigger wallet.

Whenever she and Francisco are plotting something, Nylah knows and this time was no different.

It was hard to get excited at the possibility of engagement.

She was just beginning to feel like her life was back on track. She had been focused, made good grades in school, (finally got a nanny for Shivani), and had the starter home of her dreams.

Another baby was definitely not in the plans.

Foundry Cove was where Nylah grew up and it had an affordable plot of land for the house Francisco had built for her. She was happy to move there and attend UBrite from the small local campus.

After giving birth to Shivani, there was still some lingering fear and anxiety but with Francisco she felt safe and secure. The inheritance he got for aging up to young adult from his parents definitely helped.

Frequent family visits also did wonders to keep her grounded. Having Liana as a mother gave Nylah confidence and she aspired to create a successful lineage and make her proud.

Time passed peacefully and eventually they planned their first vacation as a couple. After all, they had their first child right out of high school and have been busy navigating parenthood and college. They earned it.

They headed to a small resort in Newcrest and bonded over their passion for the culinary arts and the pressure they felt to make their parents proud.

Nylah didn’t have anymore doubts.

Family Matters - Eternal Love 03

Eventually the family grew in size again with the birth of their first son, Magnus. In need of more space, Don decided to move them into a bigger home on Courtyard Lane with his pay from becoming a pro athlete.

Liana had no objections. Grateful for her second chance at life she was determined to have a huge family and create a family legacy she could be proud of.

As a vampire Liana’s intuition only intensified, so it came as no surprise to her when Nylah began dating Francisco, the son of her best friend Lily Feng.

It wasn’t that she minded the budding relationship between the two, but she knew that dating someone of status would have an effect on Nylah’s life. Liana often worried about whether or not it would help or hurt her.

After all, she can relate. Marrying Don Lothario, let alone DATING him, was… controversial. She knew of his reputation. Hell, she could tell by looking at him, but they both were young and looking to have fun when they first met.

Falling for each other wasn’t a part of the plan for either of them, let alone a child! Two kids later, after a dinner date to her favorite restaurant, Liana would become pregnant with their third child, Major.

Everyone has fun at Toddler Wonders. Adults go for the food, kids for the games and teens for the vibes. So when Liana asked Nylah why she looked so upset and saw the blushed look on her face, she knew.

She remembered listening patiently as Nylah told her that she took a pregnancy test in the bathroom, about how she doesn’t want the baby but feels conflicted because she loves Francisco.

Liana understood her feelings. Nylah was a straight “A” student, had a pristine reputation and a full ride scholarship to University of Britechester for culinary arts. She felt like she had to choose between her ambition and her family and love life.

After Nylah stopped panicking long enough for her to get a word in, Liana looked in her daughter’s eyes and said four words that would stick with her for the rest of her life. “Baby girl, choose both.”
