🌟 lottie & the roommates

at first it was just supposed to be tiana and lottie living together when they moved to corona, but they had two spare rooms and tia said it’d be smartest to find roommates instead of making them giant closets like lottie originally wanted to do. they met roxanne at freshman orientation and liked her right away. lottie extended the invitation for her to come move in with them, saying she didn’t even have to pay rent if she didn’t want to. with roxanne came elsa and it was as easy as that. truth be told they probably should have looked into both the girls before just inviting them to move into their home - but both lottie and tia are too trusting for their own good. and it turned out fine anyway.

lottie absolutely hates that they insist on paying rent. she charges them way less than they actually would have to pay if all four were evenly splitting the rent - but lottie doesn’t tell them that. she flat out refuses to tell them how much the townhouse actually costs - partially because she doesn’t even remember the exact cost anyway. every month big daddy pays the official rent to their landlord and lottie takes their money, just to put it away in a box if it’s cash or a separate account when it’s a check. she then uses that money to buy them things. normally stuff they need but felt they couldn’t afford to buy at the moment. or if something needs repaired around the house she uses that money and just tells them the landlord handled it so they don’t insist on chipping in even more.

at least once a week they have a “family” dinner all four of them. it’s not any set day of the week because it all depends on tiana’s work schedules - but they make sure to do at least something together. lottie always suggests they order out so tia can get a break from cooking all the time, but 99% of the time she insists it’s okay and that she wants to cook. the other girls offer their help and usually just end up on chopping duty or doing the something simple like a salad.after the meal is done none of them let tiana help clean up - the three take care of it all themselves and then they all either watch a movie together or play games or something.

lottie let out a little giggle at the statement. she was way past tipsy and thought elsa was probably in the same boat as her as well, but it seemed like the other girl was more of a philosophical drunk rather than a silly and mushy one like herself. “you really are, els. all you girls are so warm and nice. y’all are my best friends,” she declares as she stumbles to her feet and walks the short distance between the chair she had been sitting in and the couch elsa was currently resting on. dropping down besides her and wrapping her arms around the girl in a giant cuddle. “i love y’all.” @elsavanwhomst

“those little fellas ain’t evil!” lottie all but gasps as elsa tries to shoo away the seagulls that had started to gather around their spot on the beach. “they’re just try’n’ta find a lil snack! here - grab my bag i’m sure i got some crackers or somethin’ in there for ‘em!” her arms reached out to point at the giant tote sitting at her friend’s side. even though she’d always heard people say you shouldn’t feed animals like this, lottie couldn’t help but feel bad for the poor things and tried to keep a few treats ready for whenever she sees one. it was good karma, after all. @elsavanwhomst

133. “Slushies aren’t just for kids, fuck society.”

The stranger that had the audacity to scoff at the boy with his slushie as they walked past, had clearly never had one before, because if they had, Bo was certain they wouldn’t have made such an awful sounding noise. Setting the slushie down on the fence he sat atop of, Bo shot a baffled glare at the back of the strangers head--- only to jump when he heard a female speak to him from the opposite direction. “Exactly!” He shouted out to the long gone stranger, as if they’d heard what Bo had heard. “I don’t see what his problem is. It’s not like a slushie has ever done anything wrong to him--- unless it has... do you think he’s afraid of them?”

John wasn’t sure how he’d been talked into this, but somehow he was sitting in the common area of his dorm, surrounded by a bunch of drunk peers, prank calling a number someone had handed to him. At first, he’d thought about hanging up and saying no one answered. But at that exact moment he opened his mouth, someone answered.

“Hello? Uh... Are Mister or Mrs. Wall there?” John gave a quick glance at the piece of paper that had the joke written on it. “N-no? Well then... What’s holding up your ceiling?”

elsa and victor or persephone and victor?

Can I just say none of the above? Victor might be totally off his rocker and really good at hiding it but still he’s better than both of those girls. What’s with these sisters picking the dudes that it’s totally not going to happen with? I mean if he likes one of them that’s his choice, I’m just saying they could all find a much better fit.
