That said, he then mused:

“Besides, if you remember your father…. logically speaking, you should remember us too, in time, correct?“

Sensible as always, Laurent was.

Morgan nodded slowly, considering Laurent’s words. “Maybe I should start taking notes about what I should know about my life before Koi,” she joked with a feeble grin.

“I hope I can remember you, and the other friends I’ve managed to forget in coming here... You deserve better from me than some bad jokes and asking you to repeat your name for me every couple of hours. Although I can’t promise the bad jokes will go away as my memories return!”

Morgan loved puns, what could she say?
