jaein had a rough childhood , rasied by his single mother who was an addict after his father abandoned them . his mother jumped from man to man trying to find love , but they all inevitably ended up leaving .
she would stay with men no matter what they did to her , or to jaein , and often turned a blind eye to their wrongdoings . she was desperate and spent more time chasing men and doing drugs than caring for her son .
because of this , jaein learned to be very untrusting and cynical . doesn’t believe in love or even really find empathy to be true as he’s clearly never experienced it . he’s very cautious about letting people in .
doesn’t know much about his father aside from that he was rich . he has a vendetta against rich people due to his father abandoning him & his mother .
after his mother’s passing when he was sixteen , he took to using his body to get money from rich men , even if he had to steal it .
though no one knows how , he ended up in madrid and naturally with his very particular skills ended up as a distraction for the team . he's very focused on pulling off the coming heist and hopes it can change his life for the better for once .
wants to move out of madrid and start a real life when he his share , and search for genuine happiness , not that he’s sure he believes much in it , but regardless . but of course , he’d never tell anyone of these plans .

`past:
`was a military kid, traveled a lot bc her parents were open to being relocated and didn’t want to be stationed in just once place and wanted to travel the world
the longest place she stayed in was northamptonshire, uk at the raf croughton air force base when she was 3-9 so she has the slightest english accent
`she didn’t care much since she figured that was the norm and didn’t get super attached to the people she met
`during her schooling she was always more interested in the extracurricular activities than studying. things like sports, shop, home ec, auto, etc. basically, she likes using her hands more than her brain
`the only subject that really caught her eye was chemistry bc she loved the idea of being able to blow shit up and create things by mixing different solubles and stuff
`( mention of death ) when she was around 14 her father passed away, about 2 years later her mother passed as well
`her original plan was to go to college to study chemistry but with both her parents gone and no family to take care of her, she had to invest her parent’s savings on her survival
`unfortunately, that led her to get a lot of sketchy jobs. at first it was just under the table, then one of her regulars asked if she could do anything else and thus the shadey’ness commenced
`became a bit of a freelancer but she only took jobs from people who her contacts know and trust
`cause of this, she has a lot of acquaintances in various positions. some owe her favors while others are just useful to have
`eventually that led her to travel to various places and she didn’t mind, she actually finds it calming since it reminded her of her childhood

possible plots
`scared to be lonely : they’ve been in a secret relationship ( can be personal or not, but there was some sort of connection ) for a long time ( when when she or they arrived ) but the spark isn’t there anymore. however, they’re both too scared of saying anything because they’ve grown dependent on each other and are terrified of being single again

hana grew up in the big city of seoul, and honestly, she practically raised herself. with an absent father and a good for nothing mother, she was forced to mature at a young age. most of the time she would cook her own meals in the empty apartment, study like crazy, and go to sleep only to repeat the cycle everyday.
now, she wasn’t well off from her family because they were out doing their own things most of the time, but because of her looks she ultimately was treated like a princess by classmates from elementary to high school.
she was very careful never to reveal her true family structure to anyone else, so they would just assume after seeing her new makeup and accessories she was wealthy.
it was supposed to be a one time thing. hana had always been great at strategies, and when her so-called friends wanted to shoplift some expensive makeup, she easily obliged—after talking herself a deal of them pocketing half and her walking away with half as well.
she made such a plan that none of the cameras would see them at the angle at which they were stealing. it worked out in the end and while she was onlooking the whole operation, she felt a rush that she never felt before. it was something different in the tasteless cycle of her life.
change was coming faster than hana expected, and soon it was getting bigger. more makeup, clothes, handbags, but never jewelry. jewelry was something too risky, even for her. but one faithful day in her last months of high school, hana devised her best plot yet. it was full-proof. all that was left was to assemble the team, and they would be in and out. she honestly just needed the money for her plans to go to college in the states, away from her shackling life, but lied to the classmates that were up for it. she made up a lie about how it was all just a game- like some sort of escape room. the incentive for the students was a cash prize she claimed to be at the end and signed autographs from famous idol groups.
hana scammed them so hard, taking all the jewels and selling it for twice the value. she ended up making a revenue of 3 million US dollars.
however, the students that eventually realized what went down went hunting for her without police because bro they literally committed a crime by accident lol dumbasses ( hana rly picked the dumbest bunch that would j do what she said )
as smart as hana was, the money was stored in the apartment that she thought no one entered except for her. but, she was wrong, and her parents paid her a visit just days after the heist. they found the money, robbed her ( IRONY? KARMA? IDK ! ), and left a mere 40k for her to live the rest of her life on her own with. the apartment was put up for sale, and she found herself on the cheapest flight to spain after graduation.
she joined the crew out of self interest and honestly was in it for her own cut for about two years. ig after that long with them she grew a lil heart and finally accepted them as people that she can relate to and would lw take a bullet for. in the beginning it was all about the goal, but now it’s about the goal and safety more than anything.
summary: i j rambled how she was a scammer and got SCAMMED ! (tables were turned) and then went to japan to get far enough out of the reach of her old life, but close enough to turn around and go back for revenge *cue evil screech*. she grew a heart, but it’s still underneath a lot of sarcasm and sass ;o hmu

- people start hiring you for their personal getaway reasons ; your only demands are a nice car, some cash, and controlling the aux.
- belle delphine becomes your idol. fuck college, stupid nerdy losers. you're making bank driving nice cars recklessly, streaming LOL, and watching all the anime you want.
- you have talent, but you can't manage it, making poor deals that can leave you in danger or screwed. your quick reflexes from years of arcade and league are handy at getting out of situations, and you own so many cosplay wigs & contact lenses that it's hard to decipher what you really look like.
- so the professor comes with an offer: work for him, shut down your twitch. in turn, you get to mod your own car, have premium anime accounts, and some money.
- you're dumb, but not that dumb; you negotiate. you want a boob job for anime titty physics.

- when not on major heists, you're busy ranking in league, selling sexy cosplays on patreon, and thinking about tanjiro.
