The Dream That Turned Into A Nightmare!

A fully coloured artwork that I have been working for a month, veru slowly, because I was also working on the much easier greyscale artworks I already shared.

This one depicts Elvoret\Herbia\Aile Violet, the bat-winged demon, invading Selphie's dream.

Elvoret is a boss you face in Final Fantasy 8, he appears suddenly and stealthy in-battle, so I had the idea to make it a dream-eater demon!

there are people that ship them because of the mind control theory about loki and these two therefore have something to bond over (being brainwashed)

because loki's future in the mcu is pretty unknown. we only know that he'll show up in thor 2, but then after that... WHAT ELSE? we also know he won't show up in avengers 2, so yeah :\

the problem with genderbend stories

my cis!bend Avengers AU is giving me problems

because if I do a complete cisbend, that would make just about every Asgardian warrior female, and Odin a woman

which means Asgard would be essentially a perfect matriarchy where all the power was with the women and the men were looked down on

and the thing is, my fem!Tony wouldn't be cool with the man-hating bit

....but otherwise she'd be all over that shit

and basically the story would look like:

Thor comes to Earth, Thor explains her culture to Tony

Tony decides to start investing in Asgardian real estate

Loki comes to invade Earth and Tony is like wtf are you doing why would you leave Asgard in the first place

the story ends with Tony jumping on the tesseract when Thor and Loki try to leave and starting up the Asgard branch of Stark Industries

....much as this amuses me, it's not really the story I was planning on writing
