confession With all this fighting that went on over who would go with Azriel, Elain or Gwyn, I SWEAR I started ship Elain with Gwyn (both are fantastic and would make a wonderful couple) and saw more people cheering for them (I just think it would be awesome two as a couple) two strong and wonderful women
I've made jokes about it before, but I would genuinely be over the moon if SJM was brave enough to do so something like that.
I love Elucien with all my heart, but it would be so great to see that big middle finger to all the people who have pitted these wonderful female characters against each other for the sake of a man (I would have thought we were well past this kind of bullshit discourse but everyday I see the worst takes villinizing Gwyn and Elain alike).
I mean Elain did say "I don't want a male." And Gwyn is uneasy around them.... something lgbt could be going on there if you ask me ;)
