Stroooongly disagree about Tony being "arrogant". If anything, Cap was the arrogant/stubborn one. Tony realised that they are not perfect and that they may not have full context of situations, which is why he wanted to make sure people with extraordinary power are held in check in order to make the world safe and, very importantly, to make sure the people living in the world FELT safe. Cap decided he always knew what was best and to hell with 117 countries!

In a perfect world Tony would be right but countries, politicians and world leaders are not universally good in their judgement and as the plot of the movie showed they were wrong.

Yeah Cap was arrogant too but at least he wasn’t letting only one viewpoint dictate his thinking.

My parents are utterly convinced that Harper is the best of the lot for the economy and it's, like, the only thing they care about. I know very little economics, please help??

I'm actually looking for internships in the greater vancouver area and nearby right now for next year actually! I'm gonna start looking at specific organisations soon and try to get an idea of what is available...so I might be going sooner than grad school (which for me isn't for at least another 2-3 years)

Ahhh it was so fun you're going to love it!!

My 2 big pieces of advice would probably be 1) Keep track of our money (because exchange rates and fees for credit cards over there makes it drain REALLY quickly), and 2) Keep track of the time (because it'll look like it's only around 6 PM, but it'll really close to midnight. The sun doesn't set over there for a really long time).

So yeah, I hope you have fun! I certainly did =D
