The first half of the hood is done! Re-hooped and ready to go on side number two! The goal is to get this side done by Friday, so we’ll see how it goes.

Okay, since I apparently can’t reply to comments anymore (thanks whatever hiccup in xkit did that), I’ll respond to you guys this way:

Which is mainly to say just how much I really appreciate all of your kinds words and encouragement. It really brightens my day and makes it just that much more worth it to press on when the embroidery starts to slog sometimes. @cryptidpoet  @i-speak-graffiti Taliesin throwing those words out on Talks was definitely the straw that broke me, lol, and I have every intention of making him eat his words!

Tekko is officially one week away! My primary cosplays are Dragon Age, Critical Role, and Voltron.  If you’re going, I hope to see you there!

If you don't mind me asking what kind if fabric are you using for the outer layer of molly's coat?

I ended up settling on linen instead of silk noil (my first choice) because of colour availability (the silk was on back order until like… late april/early may).  Linen was also much easier on my wallet, lol.

Tomorrow kicks off Blurriecon 2017 and I’ll be attending this year as a guest! I’ll be around all weekend to talk cosplay with attendees, and I’ll also have my camera along to do free photoshoots for anyone who asks.

I’m running an Intro to Cosplay panel on Saturday and a Cosplay: Then vs Now panel on Sunday.

How my day started vs. How my day ended
