Hi there! I'm learning how to blend recently and i love how you did Naito Mudano gifset!! would you please share you process for the third gif blending.
Hi! Firstly, thank you. Secondly, I'm not some expert at this and I don't know if the explanation would be clear... but here I go with steps how I made the 3rd gif:
step 1: make base gif (naito from opening)
step 2: add on top of it picture (screenshot of naito's horns from ep3)
step 3: set blending - the picture is set as normal
step 4: add the mask layer on the pic (click on this icon)
step 5: take a brush tool - the smaller the brush the more easier it is to cover over tricky parts, the bigger the brush - proces is faster
step 6: set color to black and brush over unwanted parts of the picture
(In case you brush over something you didn't want to, swich to white color and brush over that part)
step 7: add the coloring on the top
step 8: add the text - font in my case is 'UD Digi Kyokasho NK-B'
step 9: duplicate text layer
step 10: first text layer -> set the text color as #003cfe -> blending is set as subtract
step 11: 2nd text layer -> set the text color #010101 -> blending is set as color
step 12: double click on text layer -> the window for layer style will open (here you can add shadows on your text, make it glow etc.)

step 13: it's done - set the end of the gif and then export it
ps: i'm sure that the colors of text on first version of this gif are a bit darker shade than on this one, but the proces is the same. idk if this is clear for understanding - but hope it helps.
