Meme days & Info

So I talked with Ash a little bit before she ran off to work about memes, and that we have a plan for now.

1) We will be keeping memes to Wednesdays. Please only post your answers on Wednesdays, but of course if you do not have the chance to send any out on Wednesdays, you can send them through the week, to be posted on Wednesday following.

2) If you want to partake, you’ll post your ask links in preferably one post, on this tag #elysiumasks as that makes it easier to find who is taking part. If you have multiple blogs, please add your links to the one meme you reblog, rather than reblogging it to each blog, and clogging up the dash.

3) If you reblog asks, you have to send out. If I find out it becomes a problem that people only send asks to people they are close to and ships with, I will easily cancel meme days. It is not fun to be ignored and see everyone else receive asks, while you don’t receive any.

4) Memes does not count into activity.

5) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do come to us if you do not get asks. I am going to be keeping an eye on everything on Wednesdays, but I go to sleep around 9 pm GMT most days so unless Ash is around for long after on that day, we will lose out on multiple hours.

Three years. Three years without clients, three years without any guests. It’s finally time to open the doors to Elysium. The old name, Grand Greece removed and Elysium having taken its place over the doors, and it is easy to tell it’s been done work. The marble shining white in the fall dark, the lamps shining brights to bring attention to the building.

It’s been preparing for this. For new people to enter, for people to check in and meet what used to be a rather friendly high class boutique hotel, and to a new style. For no longer are those under eighteen welcome. Oh no, now the hotel has quite a new style.

Not that they’ve announced that you can have sex just about anywhere, its been no secret that Elysium is following the style of Greek gods. Sex, ambrosia, and beautiful people. That’s their style. Live, dine, drink like Greek gods. Not that anyone needed to say it loudly that it included fuck like them too.

The doors have opened, the staff stands ready, and the clients are coming. Curiosity, wealth, or simply that they needed somewhere new to stay? Who is to tell what is anyone’s reason. What they all have in common though is that they’re ready to stay a place that would make even the gods of the Greeks jealous.

So I am not even going to bother dragging that anon out of the box, because it does not deserve to be seen, or to have space on my main, but I will bring up what i think is important regarding the topic it mentioned.

Some of you might have heard about the drama about a man called Matt. If you haven’t, good for you, you’re a lucky one. I’ve seen the hate these so called “roleplay helpers” sends out to his friends and even people who do not know him, simply because they enjoy writing with him.

If the person in here who they claim is him, is him, then so what? My group is my group. What happens inside of here, is what matters, not what happened outside, a year ago even, some of which has been admitted to being fabricated. If ANYONE makes anyone in this group uncomfortable, I want you to message me with the screenshots of how and why.

The outside is the outside, this group is going to be a safe space. From witch hunts, from bullshit drama, from everything. But if you are a shy kid who can’t set your foot down when people push, let big sis (Even though I am younger than some of you) Cat give you some lessons.

1) Say no.

2) if they keep on pushing, say this and I quote “No. I do not want to, and this is making me uncomfortable. Leave me alone”

3) If they push after that, take your screenshots, and message me. I am a fierce big sis when needed to be.

4) Block them.

The world will unfortunately always have people you do not get along with, the world will unfortunately have people you crash with. What makes a difference is if you actually stand your ground and make it clear if you’re not ok with it, or if you just whimper and curl into a ball.

IMPORTANT

Hey everyone. As people have started sending unreasonable anons to members in addition to what the admins have received on the main, we are going to ask everyone to turn off their anons. If you want to keep your ask open, that is perfectly fine, but please turn off your anons. I do not want anyone to receive uncomfortable messages.

The anon on the main will stay open due to people’s privacy when applying or asking questions so there is no need to fear you cannot ask questions without being called out, but please turn off your own anons for your sake.

Closing

It is with sadness Cat and I are making this choice, but due to a lack of activity on most everyone's part, we are making this choice with heavy hearts. Perhaps it has a lot to do with the situation that occurred in our very first week where at least Cat lost the drive to run promo non-stop, and maybe it has to do with timing as it is closing up to big holidays and exams, or maybe it was for no reason we can tell, that this happened.

We are sorry to announce this, but Elysium is closing its doors for now. Maybe we will re-open in the future, when the time is right, but for now, Elysiumhqs is closed.

We are thankful for everyone who has chosen to take part though, and given us your time and energy, and we cannot wait to see you elsewhere in the RPC.

Now that the American Thanksgiving holidays are behind us, I just want to put out a reminder about the hiatus policy the group has. If you are in need of time away from activity for whatever reason, there is a form on the main. We admins ask that you remember to use this and send it to the main so we can post your absence. Do NOT message us on our private blogs and tell us you aren’t going to be able to post for a bit as we can’t keep up with it if the information does not come directly to the main.

Hey guys, so Admin Ash is on hiatus so I am unsure if she will poke her head by today, but I am currently under an extreme ear infection so I have not slept much and is soon getting meds for it, so I am unfortunately not available right here and now due to pain.

Apps and questions will be answered later today when either ash has the chance or when my painkillers actually make a difference.

Sorry about the delay, I promise I will come back once I can.
