Slim - Abducted from "Slim 0097". Released 1997 via Em:t Records
I wanted to make a blog which documents the ambient electronic music of the 1990s. And here it is! Welcome to the wave roll.
Here I will reblog things including art, manga, and things I find amusing, but I will also occasionally post about records that I like and are currently listening to.
I have an expansive library of electronic music, in particular 90s ambient, and I want to share the extreme happiness and inspiration that this music has brought me with other people : ) ☮
To start with I wanted to share Qubism, which is em:t 2294- emit is one of my favourite record labels, and I love pretty much all of their releases.

Qubism is in my top 3 of the emit albums up their with Woob 1194+4495 and Gas 0095 (yes all of emit's releases are named for the year they were released and the order they were released in)
Qubism could be described as pure ambient electro bordering on techno. It starts out loud+fast with generous helpings of 90s edm, but then panders out as it goes on and gets gradually softer and more delicate. highlight of this record for me is the beginning of "repercussions," which is the musical equivalent of jumping into a cool, fresh plunge pool after a sauna.
5/5
Check out this track I just realised was on the EM:T album Gas 0095 (1995), Which is widely considered an ambient classic and one of Em:t’s greatest releases. I’m laughing.
