The new three eyed cat from Disney’s upcoming movie Hexed is named Beef Roger Crummchuk. He looks like a cool little green three eyed cat who’s almost based on The Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

Going forward, I'm going to make it a theatrical tradition to bring my Nooshy plushy to every Illumination movie, and my Pawbert plushy to every Disney Animation movie. 😸

What if Minnie and Mickey swapped places in the history of toons?

Overall, I imagine Minnie would have it MUCH harder than Mickey because A: she was a FEMALE Toon created in the late 1920s, and B: EVERY waking and walking move of hers would be constantly scrutinized. She probably would have had to adapt on her feet faster than Mickey's ever had to because I imagine she would have gotten little to NO support in that time.

I'm not mad about it

I'll admit, I would've saved it for the panel today, but as long as it's Disney giving KH love, I don't see why not. But I'm curious as to why NOW. There hasn't been anything in particular that put Kingdom Hearts on the map as of late; the last major video game was in 2019, the accompanying game came out in 2020, a new mobile game got cancelled, and the new installment doesn't come out until next year. I'd think "Twisted Wonderland" also had something to do with this, but it wasn't like a big deal, to my understanding.

And before everyone gets mad, the show sounds like it's gonna be doing what I hoped: stripping back a lot of the convoluted "actually, what you thought you knew wasn't the full story" narrative. I'd love for the show to be adapted using the original storyline--just cleaned up--but I'm potentially open to a new interpretation. I feel like KH has a lot of narrative potential, but the ties to Disney world kind removes necessary screentime and storytelling--and it doesn't help that the Disney worlds aren't heavily involved in the overall narrative unless 7 hearts are involved.

I kinda want the pure heart to be Kristoff's

It'd give him something to do and keep this from rehashing the first film, scrapped concepts, and "Once Upon a Time." Him being the one male Disney co-lead in a musical who isn't egotistical or cynical and getting shafted makes me feel bad for him.

Also, can we stop putting Elsa in super modern dresses? Like, I like the looks, but the modern design does kinda break the 19th century immersion--more than Disney's past designs. I kid you not, the look feels AI, and I'm sorry to the animators who actually worked on it because I realize it's not.

Speaking of animation: how do they already have renders and full animation when this is a year out? Or are they fooling us and this is just for the short film coming out in a couple months?
