B/J/B - Room for them both:
Bronn/Jaime/Brienne - This one is a very simple little ficlet in which Jaime arrives and in an overcrowded keep, Brienne makes room for them in her rooms, and in her heart.“Bronn simply follows Jaime, and Brienne makes room for the both of them. Cold nights become bearable again. Winter is here, but so is the comfort of each other.”
I’ll let the text speak for itself here. Incest implied, but not explicit just yet.—–Brienne should probably be bothered by it, for a moment maybe she wanted to be bothered by it, but if she’s honest, it’s more beautiful than wrong to her. Maybe if she’d known before she saw it with her own eyes it would have disgusted her, but nothing that sweet and golden and heated would ever be wrong to her. Not that she was an outside perspective now.—–Brienne had met Cersei on a Friday night. She’d been on a blind date that had both started and ended rather poorly, though the night had ended up on a much higher note. She’d left her restaurant table in exchange for a seat at the end of the bar, though she rarely drank, and much to her surprise she’d struck up a conversation with a woman a few minutes later. She was perhaps a few years older with a face that wouldn’t have been out of place in a classic black and white film. She was gorgeous, smooth skin, dark red lips, and perfectly coiffed hair, though perhaps a shade darker than was natural. Several drinks later, one heated conversation about Brienne’s miserable date, and the brunette beauty being stood up, and Brienne’s world was spinning out of control. Not that she was going to complain. She’d truthfully never been so thankful for a bad blind date before.—–Brienne gasped, taking in much-needed air as Cersei finally let her legs relax. Her wide mouth turned into a smile as she crawled back up the bed to kiss the woman she’d been fucking for the better part of the last month. But their lips never quite connected because Cersei sat up suddenly, narrowly missing knocking heads with Brienne. “Jaime!”Brienne’s eyes went wide and she turned, arm across her small naked breasts, attempting to cover herself. To her surprise, Jaime was not a woman, but rather a tall blonde man. Beautiful, even with the surprised look on his face. Her mind sped up, suddenly slightly panicked. She’d been seeing Cersei, but she didn’t claim to know her well. For all she knew he was the husband, boyfriend, and here she was in bed carrying on with his other half.“Don’t stop on my account.”She moved to stand, pull her shirt on, but Cersei caught her arm and shot her a look that begged her to stop. “Stay… please.”
This isn’t so much unfinished and just sitting as moved to a new home? Sort of? I’m currently trying to write this as a roleplay thread instead. If it ever gets far enough in, we’ll start posting, but I’m slow about everything. This one is a canon divergent story where Brienne takes Sansa to Tarth instead of taking her North to the wall to reunite with Jon. Brienne hides Sansa as her handmaid/companion and eventually, Brienne and Sansa start a relationship with each other. Sometime later Jaime arrives on Tarth, having finally left Cersei, hoping to join Brienne to fulfill their oath to Catelyn Stark. He finds more than he anticipated. Sansa Stark who is now a woman grown, and Brienne who has found more than just an oath to hang onto.Sansa is somewhat wary of men, and of Jaime as he’s a Lannister, though she trusts Brienne.Brienne still has feelings for Jaime and finds that they haven’t gone anywhere. And Jaime, of course, has some feelings for Brienne. Sansa encourages Brienne to pursue it, and through seeing each other through Brienne’s eyes, Jaime and Sansa fall for each other as well.At a certain point, Sansa will take back Winterfell and reclaim her family home, this time with Brienne and Jaime as her two sworn swords as far as everyone else is concerned. The wars will happen, and when it’s all over Sansa Stark will rule the north. Sansa, Jaime, and Brienne are still all breathing. The relationship she has with her sworn swords is perhaps a poorly kept secret as it is, but twice over when Sansa gives birth to the first of their children. Eventually, Brienne has one as well.
