"Oh, now why would you think that?" Granted he did have to bite back a chuckle when the news got to him that his favorite little scientist managed to poison himself... again.

But no, he was no here to laugh, maybe give a slight tease or two, but he wanted to help him feel better, hence bringing with a few possible antidotes from the lab.

"We can't have you huddled in the bathroom puking your guts out all day." With that said, perhaps taking the situation a bit too lightly, Desire placed the little vials on the bathroom counter. "I brought these in case they could help, otherwise you need to get to bed and rest."

Desire wasted no time in practically tearing the other's clothing away to see what exactly he was hiding. When he had gone to gently touch him, Aesop had made such a pained sound that it worried the aristocrat. Who would dare hurt his loved one like this? And more importantly, why wasn't he told?

One eyes finally caught sight of the wound, D.M. looked from it to Aesop, forcefully holding him in place so he could attempt to run away. "When did this happen?" His voice was dark, threatening. Whoever was responsible was about to know how horrid his own wrath was.

The Detective should’ve known it. While D.M. always praised himself to be a careful man who never would get in trouble or actually injured, he somehow did get injured this time. It had been enough to worry Aesop to drop everything and instantly rush to him. A part of him wondered if the Earl did it on purpose or if it was really just a mere accident and someone did manage to catch him off guard. Whatever it was, these were thoughts for later. He rushed the stairs up in the manor and opened the door in a hurry only to rush instantly to D.M.’s side and pull him into a careful hug. “ You should be more careful… “ Aesop mumbled, hiding his face in the other’s chest. “ You’re an idiot… “

The Earl had had an inkling that there was going to be an attempt on his life, but what he didn't anticipate was someone camping out in a tree outside a window in his manor, waiting for the perfect shot. Luckily they weren't a good enough shot and was quickly captured by the servants of the Melodis estate.

Desire, was quickly taken to his room, a doctor called and Aesop notified at his request. He didn't expect for his boyfriend to get there so quickly, to be so worried and upset.

D.M. merely chuckled, albeit somewhat painfully as he was scolded, his lovely boyfriend attached to him. "Now now, I'm still alive, aren't I?" He whispered back, wrapping his arms a round the other's smaller frame.

It was not uncommon for the Detective to allow the Earl to visit him at his office. It had become such a normal occurrence that Aesop had specifically gotten a little sofa for D.M. so he could sit there instead of stealing his office chair. Green hues were staring at the various files on the desk, only now and then was he looking up to see what his boyfriend was up to before his focus was back to the papers. Even if D.M. were to do absolutely nothing, Aesop was still distracted enough by just his presence, yet he was not going to say it. Instead he only pressed his lips into a thin line and tried to further continue his task. It was only after a few minutes that he let out a sigh and moved the papers away to look at D.M., an almost annoyed expression on his features as he did so.

When he had been so kindly allowed to visit his lovely little boyfriend, he'd made sure his day was clear so he could spend all of it with Aesop. For once, he'd even brought a book to keep himself occupied, not in the mood for a scolding about how distracting he was to the other's work.

As such, he laid quietly on the sofa, reading, only glancing over at the detective's desk when he felt a stare.

However, he sat up, almost excited, as he heard papers being moved, and once again felt a gaze on his person. Was Aesop done already? How fun! But... the expression on his face told a much different story.

"What? Did you decide you'd rather have fun with me instead of dull paperwork?"

          ˗ˏˋ💐❀┊ ( * THE GRACEFUL CHRYSANTHEMUM ) ━ INTIALLY , SHE MUTELY SPECTATES THE DANGLING SUSPECT as they scream      &&.      flail overhead .      THEY ATTEMPTED to wrestle themselves free from hanging vines , slicing through ivy with their blade .           ONLY FOR a dozen new tendrils to replace the fallen ones , coiling      &&.     squeezing around the offender , thorns digging into their skin , prompting their curses     &&.   demands to regress into pleas       &&.     cries of forgiveness .      ONLY THEN the woman settle her prisoner down , only a bind around their wrists      &&.     feet remained , the authorities can pick this scoundrel up later .

        ˗ˏˋ💐❀┊ ( * CHRYSANTHEMUM ) ━ SHE FINALLY SNAPS OUT OF HER STUPOR ,  worry paints her visage as she turned towards the fallen man .  ❝ yes , that was my doing . ❞ SHE HESITANTLY ADMITS as she offered her hand to him ,  using her strength to help the embalmer back on his feet , she brushes off the dust from his clothing ,  ❝ we can talk about it later but first . . .   are you alright , aesop ?      that person tried to hurt you .      did you get any bad injuries ?      they had a knife ,  i was glad i made it on time . . .  you could’ve . . . ❞ SHE TRAILED OFF , only pulling the man into a tight embrace , relieved that he was safe .

           ˗ˏˋ💐❀┊ ( * THE GRACEFUL CHRYSANTHEMUM ) ━ THIS WAS A SIGHT THAT WAS ALL TOO FAMILIAR .       CREATURES SOILED IN SIN ,  questioning her indifference , her kindness .        THEY EXPECT RECOIL , disgust , hatred . . . and yet Chrysanthemum offered none .        MURDER IS A HEAVY BURDEN , she knew that well , the weight of blood upon one’s hands felt as heavy as golden ingots buried deep within one’s pockets , forcing one to sink into the abyss .    

           ˗ˏˋ💐❀┊ ( * CHRYSANTHEMUM ) ━ SINNERS often thought a punishing sensation was deserving . . .     BUT crimes had their own complexities . . .     HIS EYES . . .   HIS SOUL DOES NOT LIE , he was terrified of being abandoned once again ;   if she were to leave him now . . . vulnerable   &&.   lost  , she’d fear that he’d entirely break    &&.   withdraw his faith .  SO , instead of pushing him away , she pulled him closer .     THERE was still a chance to keep him from drowning . ❝ aesop , come here . ❞ SHE BECKONS , her voice ever-mellifluent , pale hands tenderly reaching out for the embalmer .     WARM PALMS caress his cheeks , before pulling him into a tight embrace .  ❝ the blood in your hands doesn’t always equate to a sullied soul .     you are angry , you were robbed of a mother and a peaceful life .       you have every right to be .       while . . . i don’t normally condone murder as a solution to grief .     i won’t blame your emotions for getting the better of you ,  for you to establish some sort of peace .   jerry carl was a pinnacle of sin .      if not you , if not your mother , he would harm someone else .      but aesop , you are nothing like him .       you’re still young , you can still change from what he had taught you .      you will respectfully grant the deceased their rightful peace , but unlike him , you will not bring the living to their early demise . ❞

do you have a pet peeve when it comes to shipping?

establishing a ship, then completely discarding any kind of interactions between them. like i don't expect ask each time i reblog a meme, but if there's nothing for like a month or more, it's just that weird limbo of shipping. especially since usually my rp blogs way more rely on the asks than consistent threads. like is it a thing? is it not? should i not send anything from them?

some yes, some no, too many muses to point out without specifying :p

i mean, we have fyozai, joscarl, jacknaib etc. outside of that i had skk, but it was incredibly short lived.

any ship with Toshiro tbh. with any other shinigami it feels weird, considering that he looks like/is comparing to them a kid, but with karin it also rubs me the wrong way. so yeah, anything with him is a hard pass for me

probably multiple, but taking 'one' right from top of my head it would be any ship with Oz. for a playable character in dating sim, he doesn't get any romantic partners lmao it's purely on me though
