she's here, she's queer, she'll drink your beer out of the fridge and not replace it
cute little kobold possible conduit for unknown forces, more at 11
this is my dnd character Ember she's a ranger and an idiot <3
new token for ember. I figure her hair's grown out over the months, and when she got an axe to the brain from her party member she came back with a cool white stripe in it so she can never ever forget what happened ❤️
Ember's weird homeless drow friend burst into eels in session yesterday, which she found... Upsetting.
I'm really happy with this! It's my first go at both proper painting and gamut masking in a long time!
Tell us more about the new kobold!!
Ember Jin and her dog, who is nothing special or important, and is definitely not a deity, just a normal ranger pet, are my new D&D characters! Ember is a ranger with the drakewarden subclass and she's heavily inspired by both Mae from Night in the Woods and Issun from Okami (Stanley is inspired by the various NITW gods and Amaterasu, respectively).
Ember is, technically, the high priestess to the Syderum Beast, a powerful god who saved her ancestors' colony centuries ago. Ember just calls him Stanley. She has to drag him out of the dumpster a lot.
Recently she set out to find the fabled seventh artifact said to be needed to restore the Beast to its former glory. This was not a cover story for a desperate bid to escape the quiet, unchanging, and dwindling colony. She wasn't expecting a bunch of weird god shit to actually start happening (recently her spots all turned into stars! whee!), nor for Stanley to FOLLOW HER OUT.
Ember's now traveling with an undead paladin who is an avatar to a (much more powerful) god, and an incredibly influential devil. She already had trouble feeling tiny in an enormous, uncaring universe. Being around the first real movers and shakers she's ever met in her young life has not been helping.
But most of the time she's like this.
Here's her playlist which is mostly Existential Dread. Bonus, first ever drawing of em:
i'd like everyone to know that my kobold ranger just fucked up a roll to get a date with an NPC so badly she ended up pulling from the d&d equivalent of The Game. she did so badly it wrapped back around into a success. she got the date. absolute failizard cringegirl.
In the game this morning Ember woke up and all her spots had turned into stars. I’m sure this doesn’t have any importance to her plot
