Eclipse Attack?

First attack of the year! I had a lot of fun working on this. It was a little self-indulgent but I hope you like it! :)

First post on my new blog! I'll start it off with my little dergling Ember. She has been my online avatar a long time although I only recently started drawing her as my original dergling species. I typically draw her as a normal dragon but it's more fun drawing derglings. They are simplistic and the design is inspired by crested geckos, dragonflies, and cats.

It’s been a while since I’ve finished a digital drawing that I was proud enough to post. Ember has been my online avatar for years and I generally draw her as a regular dragon, but since I’ve come up with the dergling species design I’ve drawn her much less. So I’ve decided to draw her as a dergling!

I just now realize I wasn’t consistent with which direction the color of the wings go but I’m not sure which one I like best.

Coloring these were so much fun! I had finished the lineart a long time ago so all I needed to do was add color but I went ahead and rendered a little more than intended. Finishing old WIPs is so satisfying 😄
