Ember Catalina Eris Johnson

Ember was born to Nina on April 18, 1997. When she was little, she used to always take her toys apart and put them back together or made a different and better toy to play with. Her mother couldn’t find a babysitter so she took Ember to her mechanic shop everyday until she could go to school. In Kindergarden, Ember met Jade and they instantly became best friends. They played, laughed, joked. Everything two little girls could do with their best friend. Ember grew very protective of Jade as they grew up together. If anyone even looked at Jade the wrong way, she’d step in and handle it. In the 5th grade, she defended Jade and made a new friend from it. One day, Ember was talking to one of her teachers about homework. When she came out and went to her locker, she found Jade inside, crying. She tracked down the person that did it and punched him in the face, threatening to make his life miserable if he messed with her again. After that, they became close too. Her first monster that she ever encountered was also during the 5th grade. She was helping her mom work on a car and when she went to go get something, a vampiric monster was waiting for her and attacked her. Her mother came in just in time to see the monster turn into gold, glittering dust on the floor. Ever since then, Nina was cautious about where Ember goes, whether it’s alone or with her friends. The monster attacks grew even worse as she had gotten older. The last straw was when Ember went swimming with her mother at a public pool and a Hydra attacked. Nina told Ember that she had to go away to camp. It would be much safer for her there than it was in Phoenix at the moment. And so, Ember packed her things, said her goodbyes to her mother and 2 best friends and got on the plane to her new home in New York.
