I know this topic is a bit old, but I still want to speak my mind

It’s sad to see how these characters got so much hate and mockery from the fandom. The unnamed Incubus was hated just because he "flirted with Stolas in front of Blitzo 😭". Emberlynn was called weird just for writing fanfics and having an obsession with Blitzo BUT STOLAS DOES THE EXACT SAME THING!

Yet, somehow, Stolas is considered a "poor victim," while Emberlynn is dismissed as "just a gag character."

They are both victims of the plot's function, the Incubus for Stolas, and Emberlynn for Blitz. I believe that in my fanon AU, they could actually be a great match.

Judging by her room, she likes xenophilia, specifically human girl x creature (dragon or demon) dynamic, so the Incubus would definitely catch her interest. If Emberlynn is into Blitzo, what stops her from falling for this Incubus? Also if the Incubus was flirting with Stolas, why not flirt with her instead? Why is Stolas the only one who deserves to be courted? Female characters deserve attention too 🙄
