unfortunately not everyone who got hit with the beta has the option to opt out ):

go to settings > dashboard and then if you see the toggle i highlighted in red available, you’re able to! if you don’t you’re the unfortunate group u___u

there’s been a trick going around though that ... again only works for some people, but if you go to the url https://www.tumblr.com/messaging it supposedly bypasses the tumblr beta because the beta is just an overlay and didn’t account for messaging as a feature, so we can exploit it that way, but there are yet again some people who just got so cursed they can’t even pull that trick off.
