How does Prince(ss) of Rage Edelgard and Witch of Time Byleth sound? I haven’t pondered much on the other Eagles but I think Hubert might be a Blood or Void player, Bernadetta could also be a Void player?

I’m kind of tempted to say Byleth would be a Knight of Time or a Knight of Breath, though I’d have to mull over it more (and finish a lot more of the game than I’ve finished) to say for sure. As for Edelgard, I could see her as a Prince possibly, or maybe a Witch? I know for sure she’s Rage-bound, though.

Hubert I could see as a Prince of Blood. Maybe a Bard, though I get the sense that Hubert does what Hubert wants more often than you might initially think, and I don’t think he’s anywhere near unpredictable enough.

I’m exhausted right now and usually I spend a lot of time hemming and hawing over classpecting, but let’s just do some off the cuff for fun, shall we?

Dorothea I could see as a Thief of Space. I don’t have a fancy explanation for it, but if you read the descriptions I think it makes sense for her.

I like the idea of Bernadetta as a Void player--maybe she’d be a Page. At first she’s super subsumed in her Aspect, and it isn’t until later that she can start doing her job properly by helping everyone else fly under the radar. Could also maybe see her as an Heir.

Linhardt’s a healer so he’d be a Sylph, maybe of Mind? Since he’s pretty focused on personal choice. He doesn’t necessarily strike me as a Life player.

I could see Caspar as a Page of Time, honestly. Can’t sit still, constantly pushing himself because of wanting to be better and being frustrated with not already being better, etc.

Petra’s giving me some trouble. I could maybe see Life for her, or Hope? As for the class, I’m kind of feeling Maid.

Ah damn, if I intend to do all the Eagles I have to do (ugh) Ferdinand. Uh... I’m thinking a Heart player, and for the Class maybe...Mage? He’s well-informed about his heritage and position in life if nothing else.

Bonus: Manuela is a Sylph of Heart.

Another Bonus: Ingrid is a Knight of Hope.

Yet Another Bonus: Mercedes is for sure a Life player, but as for the Class, maybe like...a Seer?

Even More Bonuses: Lysithea is a Mage of Light, I think. There is no way Marianne is anything but a Doom player (Heir, maybe). Sylvain I see as a Rogue of Blood, possibly. Ignatz and Annette strike me as Light players, though unsure what Classes to give them. Leonie I can def see as a Breath player, maybe a Maid or an Heir or something. Ashe I think could make a decent Heir of Blood or Space, or hell, maybe even Life. 

Someone Stop Me: Shamir’s a Knight of Void, so says my heart. Rhea’s a Muse of Hope, duh. Seteth I could see as a Page of...Light, maybe? Flayn...uh, some kinda Page. Maybe a Page of Life, or Hope or something. Or actually, I guess Flayn could maybe be a Muse, too, if you wanted to argue that.

This One is Obvious: Anna, Thief of Light.

So yeah this isn’t everyone, but just some thoughts. Hope you enjoy.

This is a dangerous path to put myself on, but I need to say it: Edelgard is a Rage Player.

I’m not done yet with Golden Deer not am I skilled at Classpect analysis but i’m 90% sure Claude is a light player, maybe a rogue of light. Heir of Doom Marianne is valid, Leonie seems like a knight of Blood or Hope, Raphael gives me Knight of Breath vibes, Ignatz is a page but I’m unsure of what aspect. Lorenz is a heart player, perhaps a page? Hilda also seems like a Heart player she might be a mage, and Lysithea feels like a Seer of Mind.

I need to spend way more time with the characters to get a feel for them for classpecting, but these are interesting choices!

The best feeling I’ve had in awhile is seeing the words ‘It’s back’ when referring to a piece of fanfiction I used to not like writing.

Really though, I’ve also come to the conclusion that fanfiction in general shouldn’t be knocked, and should more over be considered a form of exercise. Which I consider it so.

Ok but Emblemstuck Headcanon:

Rose and Dave are both a bit more heavy-set than John and Jane, right? When they need new armour/repairs, it would cost a bit more, as they need more armour to cover their body. This, in turn costs more and pisses them the fuck off. Mostly Dave, but Rose thinks it’s pretty ridiculous too.

Class List for InsigniaStuck!!

Okay, here goes. I'm gonna draw these as I go along my dudes. Jake: Knight, duh. What else would he have been taught in a fortress of isolation? He may expand his talents and/or switch class later on. Jane: Songstress, however has the ability to wield daggers. Pretty cool. Jade: Jade is a Taguel, however I have yet to decide what clan she calls her kin. Along her journeys, she has also become a Witch, and can yield tomes. John: John, being royalty, takes the class of a Lord. He weilds a hammer, however is also experienced with swords. Rose: Rose is a Strategist. She serves Jane (and later Jake) and can wield tomes, as well as staves. A Maid, but cooler. Dave: Dave is a Paladin, and his horse is named Maplehoof. He serves John and fights with his shortsword, however is experienced with lances as well. Roxy: Roxy is an Archer. She has a custom bow made of enchanted birch, of which she changes the name of constantly. She serves Jake (and later on, Jane). Best girl. Dirk: A samurai, duh. What the fuck else? He serves Jade and is pretty fucking awesome.

OOPS SHIT GOTTA FIND A NEW NAME

so i just checked like right now that another person with a much larger blog is doing emblemstuck shit??? and it’s a lot better?? oops. so i’m going to work on  getting it a new name and setting up an actual blog for the AU, as to sort of claim it in a way?? idk. I've also noticed that the other person doing it is just making designs, not a whole story, as that is what i’m focusing on. i want to die.

Emblemstuck Shit

     So Jake is born to the Royal family of Alternia, right? He is one of the four heirs to the throne along with Jade, the other two being Feferi and Meenah. But once all the stuff happens with the Fates and deciding shit, Jake is actually related by blood to John, and Jane to Jade. Jane acts as Azura in this AU, and is a songstress. 

     Dave and Rose act as a special class of retainers to John and Jane (Dave being assigned to John and Rose being assigned to Jane), however Rose is reassigned to Jake when he betrays Alternia. Dirk and Roxy are in the same position, however they are required to be less friendly and more business with Jake and Jade (They blatantly defy these orders, however. oops). Dirk is assigned to Jade, and Roxy is assigned to Jake. Roxy, in turn, is reassigned and quickly befriends Jane as she refuses to tag along with Jake. Jane’s inability to side with Jake will probably be caused by a support-like conversation with dialogue similar to that of what happened in canon around her birthday. 

     If one were not already quick enough to guess - Jake does side with Beforia. This means siding with the equivalent of Hoshido in this AU, as well as able to form support shit with the Beta Kids.
