Today I did an experiment with using a set of cutouts in a grey/ blue colour way and adding different coloured pieces. I liked how it changed the feel of the piece without changing the layout every time and it’s made me rearrange my cutout pieces from shape to colour! Some WIPs I’m seeing my through this weekend, they’re an extension from the collages I’ve been exploring in paper, I’m pretty happy with the results so far! Now that I’ve solved the “OMG I’ve poked a hole in the canvas” issue, I’ll be returning to filling in the ribbon. And then solve the issue of the Sharpie marks.
