Bensenville, Illinois
On the way back to Indiana from Milwaukee, I grabbed a few shots in the Chicago area. I believe these two images might have been taken in Bensenville where the Milwaukee Road had engine facilities.
Of the several F-units here, we see 104C the best—it's an EMD FP7 built for the road with this same number in 1952. It has been preserved at the Illinois Railway Museum, awaiting restoration.
Two images by Richard Koenig; taken February 27th 1977.
