There's this short manga I read a few years ago and looking back at it now, it kinda reminds me of Cú and Emer (I feel like I'm projecting here 😅😂). Then again, it's about a warrior and a (former) chieftain princess so the similarities are not too far off. There’s also Celtic/Nordic(?) elements in the art.
The title is 'Einheli no Hanayome'.
