He’s not one to back down from a challenge. And most importantly, he’s not one to abandon those he care about. Blatantly ignoring Oliver’s cries for him to leave, he takes up a defensive position in front of Oliver. Oliver’s humanity for him was a weakness but for Orion it’s a benefit. One Ukvual against 12 humans? With some of them already injured from Oliver’s sharpshooting? This will be more of an intense workout than a fight. Or so he tells himself. He can’t afford to fail here.

Shooting out a cable by extending one arm, it winds itself around one person who he then yanks to the right, knocking over three people. That’s four down. Only 8 more to go.

@emeraldshot​ has entered the love and protect baby murphy gang

          murphy ditched her last group home about three days ago, and things were going JUST OKAY. she’d nabbed enough cash to feed her for a week or two, and if she jumped high enough, she could reach the fire escape to an empty apartment building, meaning she had a semi-decent place to sleep. all in all, the kid had lived much  w o r s e. 

          just tonight, murphy had gotten a slice of pizza and took it back to her hideout. maybe if she’d paid a little more attention, she would notice the man following her not too far behind. and just as she’s about to dig in, he steps through the open window, startling murphy into dropping her pizza. CHEESE SIDE DOWN. her hands flinch back and reach for the slingshot she started carrying in her pocket.

“I ran into your former sidekick, protege - whatever you call him,” he informs the other, using the text to speech function on his smartwatch so he can accompany the robot’s voice with hand and body gestures more easily. The ‘whatever’ isn’t added out of insult or malice. Rather, it serves more of an indication of how little he knows about his and Red Arrow’s relationship. “I know it isn’t really my place, but...” he anxiously scratches at the back of his neck.

“He’s overestimating his abilities. He’s being impulsive. Reckless.” He counts all the bad habits Red Arrow has developed on his fingertips, “he’s taking on difficult, complicated missions that weren’t meant for one person to complete. And he’s being stubborn about it.” This later part has him clenching and unclenching his hand into a fist out of frustration. “I practically had to wrestle him to the ground just to get him to let me stitch up his arm. I know he means a lot to you and from what I understand he’s not on speaking terms with you right now - won’t even let you near him. I can watch him for a while but I can’t stay on Earth, I can’t follow him around forever,. You’ve got to find a way to get through to him. I’m afraid he’ll get himself killed at this rate.”

9. ) Playful kiss

Oliver, the sly bastard, knows he’s ticklish. He knows that if he kisses him in a way that his face brushes, feather light, over his skin it makes him laugh. That seems to be the Oliver’s goal - hands wind around his waist, pulling him close as Oliver’s beard brushes against the back of his neck, tickling him. Rolling up one of Oliver’s sleeves, he traces the phrase, “you’re a brat,” into Oliver’s skin. The last few letters are shaky, however, as Oliver tugs the collar of his shirt down a bit, moving from tickling his neck to tickling his shoulder. At this, he laughs so hard he snorts. “Is this how you thank me for doing your dishes? You better stop tickling me, Oliver.” He traces his name, OLIVER, in all caps for emphasis.

Gently pushing a cup of coffee in Oliver’s direction, he walks around the table in order to sit beside him. Offering the man a small smile he reaches for his hand and gives it a gentle squeeze. These comforts are simple and wordless but he likes to think Oliver can feel the love behind them.

“We’ll I’d hate to get arrested so I suppose I ought to follow that law then” he replies with a soft chuckle. Shifting to pull the blanket up higher over them, he presses a kiss to the top of Oliver’s head. If only people knew Green Arrow was literally the biggest softie alive...

Nothing like heart shaped pancakes on Valentine's Day morning with a nice cup of coffee. Oliver placed a kiss on Orion's temple, "I love you. Happy Valentine's Day," another kiss placed on his cheek. He then grinned and whispered, "Your gift comes later tonight."

“If you’re not careful I might turn into a spoiled brat,” he replies, tilting his face into Oliver’s kisses to make them last longer. Before his favorite archer can even think to try to slink away he winds an arm around his waist, pulling him close. 

“You’ve been awake for quite a while. Come sit. You need to give me a chance to give you one of your presents.”
