It was his study period and he took a seat next to Emerson, giving her a warm smile as he opened his math book with a sigh. “If I ever pass a math test, just assume it’s the end of the world and run as fast as you can.” He smirked at his own self implicated insult as he looked over the chapter for class that day. “Yup, definitely not graduating my senior year because of this crap.”

It was late, and there was plenty of fire to go around- or sit around, at least. Micah had been watching everyone make their s’mores and eat away. He even had about two himself, before making a third and bringing it over to Emerson, who he saw nearby. “Hey, you.” He smiled, offering her the s’more. “Made one special, just for you. Can’t go camping without one, you know. Rules are rules.” He grinned.

i don’t get why she dislikes me so much, i guess that’s what i hate? we’ve known each other literally forever, grew up together, i just don’t understand it.
