She quickly sought out the rec center, needing some sort of normalcy in her life to get back into a routine. It didn’t take long to secure a job, swimming lessons for now and then her regular spin classes once she came back from maternity leave. Jemma walked towards the exit, stopping as soon as she saw him. All of the feelings from the past year flooding back, the urge to run screaming in her head. She wanted to see him, but on her own time when she was able to get her story straight. Her feet finally decided to move again, heading towards the door before tripping and dropping the papers in her hand, sending the scattering on the floor. “Crap,” she muttered, bending down to pick them up.
