Birthday Baes || Lyric & Dorothy

Like the softie he was, Lyric had been counting down the days until Dorothy’s birthday--she had mentioned wanting to go ice skating, and this time of winter was perfect for that. It wasn’t hard to find a couple pairs of ice skates in stock, so Lyric had taken the liberty of getting he and Dorothy matching green ones.

Along with a wrapped birthday gift, Lyric brought the skates with him as he headed to Arcadia, taking care to arrive at the time he had promised Dorothy.

Which, of course, meant he got there too early.

Oops, should I knock on the door now? What if she’s not ready yet? I did get here early, will it seem weird that I’m already here? Nah, Dorothy’s too sweet to ever judge but I don’t wanna seem overeager or anything---

And then the door opened.

“O-Oh! Happy birthday!”

Yeah, So, How Should I Sign These Discharge Papers || [[Lest/Dorothy]]

The last few days had been... an interesting experience for Lest. In fact, they were arguably the only experience he had, seeing as anything before them was a complete blank. It was nice to have decided on a name and all... But where he was going to go from here was a complete mystery. After all, it seemed like the doctors and nurses didn’t know what to do to bring his memory back. At this point, it looked like he was probably going to be released like this.

So when the nurse came into the room, Lest did his best to be polite, and to not get his hopes up. “Hi, um... Dorothy, right?” he said. “Any luck with finding a treatment option?” @emeryfern

Keeping an Eye Out || Trent & Dorothy

Coming from a long line of medical professionals, Trent had known going into the job that being a doctor was going to take up quite a lot of his time. And he was more than alright with that, but it meant that most of his socializing was within work context, either with patients or others he worked with. And yet, he really hadn’t taken the time to really get to know everyone in the clinic yet. Which was a shame, because it would have made things a lot easier. He didn’t want to come off as intruding, but he’d overheard something that... well, it concerned him.

So, during a slow period when they didn’t have anyone in the clinic, he took the time to approach the nurse in question, tapping lightly on the door to the room she was in. He offered a small, friendly smile, hoping not to startle her. “Dorothy? Do you have a moment?”

Healer/Alchemist Dorothy has returned! Since her house on Goddessia was occupied, I just moved her to the nearest one that was free (hope that's okay). She would like to return as boss/owner of Celestia Church, and keep her part-time job at Magnolia Clinic. If any of this doesn't work, please let me know <3

That’s fine, but she’ll be owing 30,000G for the home, as well as an extra 20,000G for taking ownership of the church, so 50,000G in all! If that works for you, then you’re good. ;)

An angel and a devil

Despite his thievery, Skye was fond of churches. He appreciated beauty in whatever form, and most religious structures proved to be one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture the lowly thief has ever seen. And although he did not deserve the right to, Skye prayed to the Goddesses in tales he’s read as a child. This doesn’t mean he apologizes for his doings, but he simply finds it amusing that whatever thought he shoots to the heavens, someone was listening. It could all be fake, but he speaks his thoughts out the most this way.

His first visit to Celestia Church was a solemn one. His prayer was short and was simply a short update of how life here in the islands were. He was kneeling down on the farthest end of the church and was about to leave when he spots a girl of green hair in cute little pigtails. Was this how the Goddess watching over Arcadia decided to greet him? With the blessing of a cutie?

Skye moves ahead to the seats much closer to the church girl. She appeared to be someone who worked there, and so he goes with that thought in mind when he manages to approach her.

Putting on one of his most charming smiles, Skye casually leans on one of the pillars inside the church and waits for the church girl to pass by. “The deities are very blessed to have an angel like you serve them. Were you sent to grant my prayers of meeting my fated one?”

The church was hard to find in the night. Though, she supposed that even if it were daytime she’d still have trouble, as she was in an unfamiliar city. Maybe some buildings were kind of familiar to her, but... They were old and built onto it seemed so it was more of a distant nagging in the back of her head. She decided to ignore it and focus of finding the church instead, holding Daachan close to her chest.

The small girl knocked soundly on the large doors and waited. She could not find her own answers, so she could only think to turn to more powerful beings for them.

The door opened and Daachan signed ‘Hello’, then pushed her way past the girl before her and into the church. ‘Help.’

Church Visit || Lyric & Dorothy

A magic rope was what Lyric had stuck on him, and Arcadia was the magic island...so, surely, he could find the solution there, right?

Just being on the island’s shores wasn’t enough to loosen the rope, so Lyric went to seek out help elsewhere. He spotted a church in the distance, and figured that, having been at a shrine when he found the rope--maybe someone here could help him.

“Hello?” Lyric called out, stepping inside the church. He held up his arm in explanation, “I...think I may have a cursed object stuck on me.”
