I think I managed to catch The Hare on camera..??

Fair warning, my face is scratched out because I looked really dumb (I was in the middle of talking to a family member over video chat).

It’s really grainy, I know, but please, for the love of the gods, tell me someone else sees it in the right corner. If need be I can try to draw an outline around the shape, but there’s two black lines crossing over my closet door that look suspiciously like The Hare’s rabbit ears.

Something tells me you might wanna tell your friend that you lost that book? Maybe it's safer if they don't think you have it? I have no idea, dude. I hope you aren't in danger, at least nothing too serious.

I definitely am not giving the journal back, that's for damn sure. They have asked about it since I got back in town, so I'm more than likely going to lie and say it was left in another state or something.

I'm in the process of typing out Entries 1 and 2 and honestly, it makes my blood boil thinking back on the fake-ass friendship I had with the runaway friend.
