i spent a really long time (as you can probably tell from the dates) drawing this extremely specific oresama teacher with b parody fanart for my own enjoyment OTL. i don't think many people will get this unless you watch a lot of japanese variety or have some familiarity with japanese comedians, but blouson chiemi and her "career woman" skit was extremely popular last year and it became a trend for people to re-enact it. SO I REALLY WANTED TO DRAW MAFUYU AND HER BOYS PARODYING THIS BECAUSE IT'S EXACTLY THE KIND OF DUMB THING THEY WOULD PROBABLY DO ;;w ;;;

...hello! it's been a while. after a 2 year break, i'm back and drawing arashi costumes again! this time i drew the full set of the We Can Make It! PV costumes from 2007. :) it's been 4 years since i started this project, and 2 years since i last worked on it. my art and painting has definitely changed in that time, but i hope it's for the better. i'm often frustrated with my artstyle because i'm still so unsure of how i want it to look or develop. :'( even so, i'll keep drawing and creating until i get closer to where i want to be. OTL these days i'm mostly active on twitter and i really have a lot of fun with the arashi community there! :'D so most of my arashi content/art will be posted over there. for this project as well, i'll continue posting sets of 5 here on tumblr, but i'll be posting individual costume drawings on twitter as they're completed. the next costumes will be based on themes of my own choice, but i'll also be taking costume suggestions again in the future, most likely through twitter, so do hit me up over there if you've got good ones in mind! thank you for looking at my art, i hope you'll enjoy it. :) please continue to support me and my project from now on too! よろしくおねがいします！

ARASHI COSTUME COLLECTION 16-20 ┗ personal favourites ┗ send me costume suggestions...?

this time i drew some of my favourite costumes. i uh... clearly like checkered and tartan patterns a lot. :P i've also been drawing costumes for over a year now, so you can probably see art differences across the collection. but i'd like to keep doing this for a while, so hopefully i'll be able to document my improvement along with cataloging arashi's huge collection of outfits. i'll keep doing my best! let's build a database together LOL

from now on, i'll probably keep drawing whatever costumes i fancy at my own leisure (ie. RIDICULOUSLY SLOWLY) but do feel free to send in any suggestions that you have because i'm always keen to talk about arashi's clothes!! draw new and interesting outfits! :)
